Such a lovely stay - highly recommend! We will definitely be returning.

Really lovely place to stay, Jonny was very helpful and friendly. Dinner was delicious and breakfast also very good. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Enjoyed our stay. We did have trouble adjusting heat switch, it stayed at 20 C and from top floor room we had to hurtle back down to get milk for drinks as we were without a fridge

This is a beautiful place to stay. The service and food are outstanding. I couldn’t recommend more highly.

A faultless stay. It was our second time at the White House and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast is the best we've had anywhere. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere. Great location for exploring north Norfolk.

This is truly a 5 star residence. I never return to the same places twice but this one is a ‘must return to’ in the near future. Ps the evening meals are awesome too

An interesting place to review. On the one hand, amazing food and lovely spot. Service is unusual and quite casual, no welcome or check out really just pick and drop keys. Felt it misses out on personal touch but has some nice touches like cakes and coffee/tea in the afternoon. Supper was excellent and chef is top class. Breakfast service was fine but things were always mixed up or incorrect so a bit unreliable, but again couldn't fault the food and things always put right. Room was quite beaten up in terms of walls and needed lick of paint. Hotel was flexible when I needed to move booking, which was very kind. Overall, lovely stay but not sure I'd be back for the price.

Interesting place in beautiful spot

Yet another wonderful stay with Mary and Tim. White House Farm has truly become a second home for us over the years. Our two children adore Mary and look forward to our visits just as much as we do. It can be exhausting taking two young children away, but Mary and Tim make the whole experience so relaxing we leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. All the meals we had during our stay were fresh, hot and very delicious, nothing was too much trouble. Mary truly goes above and beyond. We feel so thankful we have found this little (well rather big!) gem that we will continue to return to year after year. We know our children have the most amazing memories of visiting here each year. The Easter egg hunts and gifts for them on arrival makes their trip so special. We mustn’t forget a big thank you to Sid too for giving us plenty of cuddles during our visit! Thank you so much Mary and we look forward to seeing you again next year, if not before!

A very special place to relax and unwind

Excellent stay from start to leaving
Spent 4 nights with our 6 strong group and couldn’t fault it
Food all home made and excellent with tasty meals and packed lunch
Put on a few pounds but it was worth it
A cracking base for touring the North of Norfolk for the Bird reserves
Will be back as soon as I have enough browny points or could take the other half to show her what shes missing

Birding base for groups

On our arrival we were shown our room by Mary, we were given the annex which was separate from the barn this gave us our own privacy and is used for self-catering mostly. The room was spacious and warm, the bathroom would benefit from a bit of tlc and the mattress is feeling it’s age.
Mary invited us for a hot drink and home-made cake.
The barn is beautifully furnished, welcoming.
Mary is an absolute delight.
Breakfast was cooked expertly and well presented.
Mary only uses local quality produce and her home made marmalade was really good.
We had also opted for a packed lunch and evening meal. 
A really good decision.
Evening meal was superb accompanied with a glass of complimentary wine.
Breakfast next day was excellent.
Mary is a great host, who cares about her guests only using local quality produce and this shows in her cooking and baking.
We look forward to returning sometime next year.

Lovely weekend

When staying at White House Farm, a warm welcome is always received, with tea and cake and a friendly chat with Mary.   Mary is the perfect, attentive host and has become a friend.  Mary provides an excellent breakfast and offers a clean and comfortable stay in the main house and the annexe. Tea and coffee making facility in our room (with biscuits).  If needed, an evening meal can be arranged.
It is ideally situated for visiting the Norfolk coast and surrounding area and within easy reach of the Thursford Christmas Show.
After our first stay we have not hesitated in returning several times.

Homely B&B in Hindolveston, Norfolk

Beautiful retreat in lovely grounds, stayed in room 9 which was large, comfortable, relaxing and view over the rear garden.Delicious dinner in the Acre restaurant, local wine was very good.Walked around the grounds before breakfast which was very tasty and filling.Perfect hosts and very relaxing atmosphere.Would recommend and stay again. Great cycling area for road and gravel cycling

Relaxing, luxurious retreat

Stunning. Absolutely fabulous, made the more so by Jonny and the staff at dinner. Outstanding food and excellent service, all delivered in such a friendly informal way. Brilliantly thought out decor that fitted each room perfectly without seeming to be, in any way, pretentious. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would very much like to return. After Jonny, I particularly commend the chef who produced a flawless dinner - presentation and a high quality of local, seasonal ingredients which complimented each other to a tee. Well done to everyone concerned. This was, in my view, a tour de force.

Outstanding

Spent 3 nights at the White House and left feeling very relaxed and happy with the choice of B&B. The staff are a real asset to the WH. Both the buffet selection (small, but everything one would need) and hot breakfast was quality, tasty and plentiful. We stayed in room 4, bed was very comfortable on night 1 but had some back-pain night 2/3! Otherwise great well portioned room, very quiet and relaxing. Internet was a bit hit and miss so great place to switch off from busy lifestyles. Free Cakes and divine shortbread at the honesty was a great touch although removed by 6.30-7pm, by the time we returned from a day out. Honesty bar also great touch and seemed reasonably priced! Would defo recommend.

I have been coming to stay with Mary and Tim for about 20 years and have always left wanting to come back again! Whether you are self catering in Coopers House or the Annex or having a lovely room for bed and breakfast, Mary will look after you from the get-go! You are met with tea and cake not just on arrival but every day! Evening meals (by arrangement) are lovely and the breakfasts delicious, with local produce and so wide ranging everyone is catered for! I left two days ago and am already planning my return in December with my elderly mother, daughter and grandchildren as I know Mary and Tim will make all four of our generations feel really welcome and looked after! 

Another wonderful stay!

We have loved coming to White House Farm for many years and always had such a lovely welcome from Mary and Tim. In June we stayed as usual in the annexe which we always  love. It is everything we need and more for myself,  husband and little dog . We have visited again this week and as we had friends with us we stayed in Coopers. What a wonderful old house, a big house  but with lots of character rooms it felt so cosy and comfortable.  Particularly loved the big kitchen and the outside areas.  Plenty of parking , secure garden and lovely areas to sit and to eat. What makes any stay so special is Mary , Tim and Sid,   So pleased this time our friends  were also able experienced Mary and Tims kindness and company. Nothing is too much trouble.
Our little dog Johhny  loved seeing Sid  and spending time with him .Thank you so much Mary and Tim   for everything you do to make every stay special. Look forward to being with you again June and September  next year.xx
