I already wrote a recension about first week of my stay. Last portion of my impressions. Don't think to buy anything in the hotel!!! Last day I only asked where one can buy caviar in the city I mean title of shop, adress. They immediately told me they have certain contacts in supermarkets and can organise delivery of caviar in one hour directly to the hotel. I paid them in euros but in the evening they surprisingly told my order is cancelled but my refund goes in local currency as they changed euros in azerbaijan manats. Why? My aim wasn' t eIlxchange. I insisted that I want return euros as I gave them because obviously exchange rate was against me. Next day after many quarrels they finally gave my euros from the safebox which vere absolutely the same banknotes which I gave the previous day. So they haven' t changed them in the bank offfice as they told... can't believe that the goal is only to take some cash on rates difference. But afraid it is. Strange final episode and miserable behaviourOf course they remain nice smiling persons and hotel's location is fantastic

I wouldn't rate this hotel as 5-star, but our experience was entirely adequate. Centrally located, the hotel was near to most tourist attractions in Baku. We chose to book the cheapest room, as it had a very attractive price. While it was well appointed, this was a mistake. The room was windowless and while spacious, was quite hot. My top tip would be to pay a little extra for a room with windows. This will make your stay exponentially better.

Book a room with a view!

Well fantastic place but they are so negligent!!! Firstly I payed for a week but I liked the location and decided to add other four days. The result is the whole first week I was sitting in plumbing issues as there was leaked pipe under the sink EVERY DAY!!!moreover  bad smell out of tubes in bathroom. Chambermaids told all the room in the hotel have absolutely equal problematic state. They promised to solve it every day, I called them at night a I arrived and saw that water goes on the floor and my feet all the same and they fixed nothing. I quarreled as in similar situations in other hotels and cities they made a discount for inconveniences. Here no they were steady that they can offer only €20 for 11 days. Absurd! Every other day they forgot to change towels or tomorrow they give 10 bottles of water and 10 towels. All in all chaotic style of housekeeping that was my problem for the entire sojourn in Baku. But they are really very nice and sympatic laughing guys  on the reception. The lobby is good, breakfasts also. But l regreted my extra four days here. I wanted to take money back for remaining two/vhree days and change hotel. Surprisingly impossible.Well strange bittersweet expirience

Strange experience with fantastic location

Good location with friendly staff. However, the hotel is little bit old and requires innovations. With proper innovation it will be much better. But overall experience was good. It’s located in the center of the activities in Baku with the stops of taxis just behind you.

In the center

Great place to stay. The staff was super friendly. The bedroom was a little small but I was fine with it. Breakfast was great with many choices. The whole neighborhood was nice with plenty stores and restaurants.

It was a horrible experience the room had no oxygen and no AC no window we couldn't breathe and we tried to sleep but we couldn't the bathroom has terrible smell after they opened the fan for us the reception and customer service is very bad since they did not give us refund and they wanted us to pay extra money !!!!!

Horrible experience 

The hotel is in the middle of parks, shops and restaurants.

After being in a legit 5 stars hotels in both gabala and Quba. Coming to this hotel that claims it’s a 5 star hotel is way beyond standard. The good things about this hotel, the location is in nazmi street and walkable distance to all other shops. The washroom is Arab-friendly if you know what I mean. However, the things that made my stay here unpleasant were the following. 1. The car cant reach the front of the hotel, so you need to walk with your own luggage. 2.  The reception is always empty. 3. There’s no security or someone in the reception area, not safe, anyone can walk in and go up to the rooms. 4. The room we got was extremely small, you can barely put your luggage and walk. When I asked to be changed, Gulnara said you don’t pay for room size. Although when you book, the room size was mentioned in the description. Also, there’s a big difference in size between the rooms we got, one was 4 by 3 m2 and the other room is way smaller. *you can check the images for reference* 
5. The towel was not clean, it was used. Also when I asked Gulnara that the towels were not clean, she had to send someone to make sure I was saying the truth. 6. Bed sheets and pillowcases were not clean. 8. Rooms are not noise proof. You can hear everything happening in the corridor. You can hear the footsteps of the people upstairs. 
7. Door locks need to be changed. It is a hassle to open them every time and they are about to fall from the door. It’s hard to lock the room from the inside as well. 
8. When I passed my comments to the receptionist Gulnara, she got defensive. And was not helpful to change the rooms even though many guests in front of me checked out. 

It is my first time to write such a bad review but this is for my fellow travellers.

Unpleasant stay

Excellent location. Very Good Breakfast. Nice rooms with exception of the standard rooms; no windows.

Very bad behaviour of staff.not friendly ,services are very slow.
Room is good location is good.
Staff dont cooperate with you even there room service is very slow. Mostly staff dont understand english.
You have to wait for an hour for any service.
