Our stay at The waldorf was fantastic. From the minute we got to the door we were greeted with a friendly smile from the porter outside, we were chaperoned in towards the check in desk where we were swiftly checked in and were told our room was ready early so we could head up to drop our bags off. The hotel had been tipped off by my husband that it was my birthday so when entering the room we were greeted with happy birthday decor, a delicious slice of cake and a beautiful card wishing me a wonderful day. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much. A free glass of bubbles awaited me in reception before we headed out for a day in the city. The rooms were very well air conditioned and beds were very comfy. The room was clean and well kept with all the essentials to hand. Robes, Slippers, Toiletries and the softest towels ever. The breakfast the next morning was delicious, the choices on offer were endless, from cooked breakfast buffet, to continental options such as pastries, fruits, cereals and cakes. Also a menu of specials such as omelette, eggs benedict and more! They literally catered for every possible dish you could want to start your day and it was held in the most gorgeous of banqueting halls which made it 11/10. We will 100% be staying again because the experience we got was 5 star.
