The Putechan Hotel

Called in here for a meal on a Saturday night. Hotel is in a lovely spot and the sunset was amazing. We loved exploring the beach across the road and climbing on the rocks.
We were a family with another family and I was impressed we didn't have to wait too long for food.
There was a good choice on the menu and the food was tasty and filling. I had the smothered chicken which was fab.
There was Wi - Fi in bar and resturant areas and they were lovely and clean with a nice atmosphere and a fantastic view.



spent a weekend here and had the time of my life 
if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you 
stunning views and nice long walks along some nice beaches 
a short drive takes you into Campbeltown where you have  to visit the caves 
and the cave paintings the hotel is very clean ,the staff are very helpful and friendly
the food is well repaired and a good choice 
would go back in a minuet

Staff were very friendly and helpful and polite to the guests.  Breakfast was nice and staff were happy to cater to the individuals needs, always checking people had enough to eat, plus that there was enough drinks for everyone.

The views from the front rooms are the best and hence why the rooms are slightly more expensive.  watching the sunset on a clear sky is just amazing and there's a beach right over the road.

The place is quite secluded and getting a phone signal is difficult if not at times impossible.  There hotel had no internet access at the time we stayed so you could feel quite isolated and unable to contact the outside world, for some people this may be a good thing.. Not as much if you are a business professional and need to keep on top of things, however I'm sure they would accommodate and allow you to use their landline.

There were a couple of small issues with our room, but the bed and decor were comfortable and to a very good standard.  i would stay here again and can definately recommend the place to others.

Stayed for one night here during the week. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. I had dinner here and didn't have to wait long for my starter or main course. The quality of food was great and you have the option of eating in the bar or restaurant. 

The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished and had a balcony with a sea view. The room had everything I needed for a great night and the king size bed was very comfy. 

The area itself is great for walks with sandy beaches stretching far. 

The only thing I would have liked was wifi in the bedroom. Although you can get wifi in the bar area.

Nice Place for a Stay

Expected more. Strongly don't recommend it. Waited 45 mins for a starter of soup. Then another 50 for the main to come. Food was poor. Terrible. Waste of time. Poor quality food. Never going back again. EVER.
