The Milburn Arms Hotel

Yes, Tripadvisor, I did go to the Milburn Arms. For somewhere which has been closed since June, I was very impressed that all the doors and windows were, indeed, closed. Peering through a dirty window, I was delighted to see that the specials were still legible on a blackboard and that there were numerous glasses on a bar waiting to be filled. Alas, I think their wait may be in vain. The absolute highlight, however, were the molehills in the front garden. All credit to Mr and Mrs Mole, who have done a fine job. Should anyone else wish to visit a closed hotel in North Yorkshire, I doubt there is a finer one to be found in the district.
