Upon arrival you are greeted by so many people, bellman, security, front desk all who are gracious and helpful. The rooms have been redone so they are well appointed, fluffy robes, slippers, coffee/tea waters etc. Didn't love the shampoo/conditioner so women bring your own as it left my hair really dry but thats my only complaint. The BIGGEST highlight of our stay was Anwar!! Anwar I believe was the head of waitstaff in the promenade. He truly made us laugh, smile and feel so well taken care of each morning. We purposely went to breakfast so we could see him and have quick chats. He works SO hard making sure all guests feel special and are getting whatever they need. He is a huge asset of this hotel for sure and was my husband's favorite person on our visit. Even if you don't stay at this hotel go and have breakfast or tea and request sitting in his area. You will leave happier for it! The food was lovely in all restaurants. The hotel is expensive but you're getting great service. The only negative was our friends did not have great experiences with the concierge team. They were not as friendly or helpful but the rest of the staff were a 10!! Would recommend and its in an area easy to access the Palace/Westminster/shopping etc within 15-20 min walk.
