The Claremont House Hotel

Just got back from a weekend break at the Claremount, same weekend as we visited last year. Really good experience, great value for money, nice staff team. Good food and service and overall we were all very happy … Thank you, would definitely recommend.

Been to The Claremont before and once again was a great weekend.
We upgraded to a sea view room which was a good size and lovely view. Room 110.
Entertainment is really good as was the food.
Food is really hot and breakfast brilliant choice.
Our waiter CASPER was very attentive and polite and very good at his job seemed to enjoy the banter we had with him.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good price, good location and lovely staff.

This is the second time we have been for Christmas, just love it very clean rooms food is excellent great entertainment and the Staff are fantastic , sky was amazing what a gorgeous carrying young lady nothing was to much trouble , Tom and I meet a dear old lady 2 years ago when we went and I wondered if she would be there again and yes she was , the hotel was fantastic with her at the age of 94 on her own , we did take her under our wing as from knowing her from before , we will be back great place Blackpool even in the winter and the hotel gave us a lovely trip to the winter gardens for afternoon tea which we had but there was a little mixup with the times but that did not stop us enjoying it and so did are friend Shelia, always lot’s todo in the hotel if the weather not great and the trams were great service stops right outside the hotel and the buses,
I would say this is one of the best hotel’s on the front at Blackpool

We stopped at The Claremont Hotel for 5 nights from the 4 - 9 July 21 and had a brilliant time. 
All the staff worked very hard to ensure the guests were catered for and a special mention must go to the reception staff who are so knowledgeable and our waitress Anny (don't be late).

There was 15 of us family and friends that arrived for a 2 night stay - from the moment you arrive the staff can’t do enough for you - we had a sea view double room we only had one gripe and it was the bathroom was that small when you sat on the toilet you couldn’t even open your legs the bath needs taking out and just a shower putting in - the food was lovely from the breakfast to the evening meal - the entertainment was amazing all of us haven’t belly laughed like that in years -you get to sit at the same table each day for your meals which is great - but we had to do it in half’s to be able to get a table in the entertainment room , please take a leaf out of your sister hotel the Viking you reserve your table for the entertainment this allows you to be able to eat together - but we’ve all had a fantastic time thank you so much 

Nice clean room, brilliant food very efficient staff, I would recommend their all-inclusive for excellent value for money. Handy location for public transport, bus stop and tram stop two minutes walk a way, plenty to do in Blackpool not so far away from the lake District.

Wow what a find this hotel was. We were looking for a hotel in Blackpool that would suit a family with varying interests. For the older ones free WiFi was fantastic and for the younger ones, the supervised kids club was brilliant. The hotel has an all inclusive package as standard, you can upgrade to premium drinks for £1/£1.50 a drink. What really sets this hotel apart is the food, it’s absolutely exceptional. The rooms are dated but with so much to do you don’t spend much time in them and they are spotless.

Came here for the first time in October with , at the time, my girlfriend and her parent who have been coming here for years. Earlier this month I returned with now my wife and her parents again. I can not fault this place one bit, staff brilliant, entertainment brilliant, all inclusive drink and food out standing. Will be returning again soon and can’t wait. 

Special mention to the guy that looked after us at breakfast and dinner time (can’t remember his name), he was A+ always cheerful and gave us a laugh. Thanks a lot.

Yet again this hotel gives its best food magnificent staff helpful.
Only down side is parking.
But it's still worth going .
Entertainment is ok .
All in all we will be going back to such a pleasant hotel.

We stayed at the Claremont for a pre-Christmas northern branch of the family gathering. My sister (for it is she who is the ‘northern branch’) recommended it as a suitable location for a weekend of all-inclusive eating, drinking and entertainment.
The alcohol is not only present in quality makes as all-inclusive, but there is also a decent coffee machine and assorted teas. They serve it until 12pm.

The food is particularly excellent. Mornings are a limited range of cereal, continental and cooked choices from the buffet. The selection probably would get a bit boring over a week but for the three days (two breakfasts) we were there is was excellent.
The evening meal is particularity of note: On the Friday we missed the evening meal as we had to drive up from London after work. However reception ensured that there were two large plates and salads and meats (and gâteau) for our arrival. On the Saturday it was Lamb Henry – probably my favourite dish this year I have had in a hotel.

The entertainment is restricted to two acts: A comedian who edges towards the 70s style of comedy – set stories peppered with misogyny – but it is tolerable so long as you hold your nose every now and again. The second act is someone singing along to the iPhone generated track. But by then you will have had enough to drink to accept it as entertainment.

The rooms are clean, well furnished, nicely too hot as all old hotels should be. There’s a pool in the basement with a large pillar curiously plonked in the middle that forced you to swim in circles. There’s also a sauna which works well.

Altogether it is reminiscent of being on a cruise ship with the same age of clientele. Very friendly and lots of staff, very good food, very interesting entertainment but you never need to leave port.

Brilliant again

Just returned from an all inclusive stay, very fast stress free check in, room was very clean and was kept clean all week by the cleaners, all staff very friendly and helpful.
The main clientele for the all inclusive deals seemed to be for the over 50's which we didnt have a problem with and did our own thing.
this was the 4th time we have stayed here and unfortunately the changes in the menu have gone a bit downhill, the creaky corridors are starting to show their age now, and is almost impossible to walk around without making a noise as we found when trying to sleep and could hear ppl moving around.
The window in the room only opened so far and not enough to aire/cool the room this was in June so wouldn't like to think how stuffy the room would get at peak summer time.
Overall a nice clean hotel in a perfect location for a stay in Blackpool.
