Things are improveing somewhat . Almost got a clean glass from the guff bar man .toilets are vile but bar area is not so bad if you wear overalls and ppi . Rooms are still the same but if you get drunk enoughf ( in another bar ) its not so bad ..

Wish we had looked at Tripadvisor before we went here!   Not to be recommended.   Avoid at all costs.  We would have gone somewhere else on the night we had booked in here after we had seen how it was, but we already knew everywhere else was booked up.  On arrival, we were disappointed with the decor in our room, it was old-fashioned to put it nicely.  No shower in the en suite, just a bath.  No shampoo or bodywash either.  We went to have a cup of tea, to find the milk was off.  Went to put on the main light, bulb was fused.  Breakfast was beyond words.  Tinned tomatoes, bacon very unappetising, and toast so hard it must have been prepared the night before!

I would recommend this to nobody.  We actually found another place to stay, we could not have slept in this place.  Hotels.com not taking any responsibility for advertising such a vile and frankly unsafe hotel.  My brothers room had woodlice on the pillow, the toilet hadnt been flushed.  Our cup was stuck to our saucer it was so filthy, we shook it and it didn't fall off.  There was nothing to stop anyone walking in off the street and getting to the rooms and our window wouldnt shut because it was hanging by one hinge.  Fraserburgh is quite a rough place now and we felt very unsafe, especially with the fire doors all being wedged open with the fire extinguishers.  All in all, it was disgusting

This hotel was disgusting - smelly, damp, woodlice, filthy, fire doors wedged open, broken window in our room.

Dirty, smelly excuse of a hotel.

Carpets throughout needed a good vacuum, smelly hallway & reception area, grotty bathroom, tiny tv, ancient spongy soft mattress, dirty linen in wardrobe. I'll sleep in my car next time!! Very expensive considering, didn't even try the breakfast even though it was B&B! No parking as was advertised, had to park on a side street away from hotel.

No heating and no apology
No internet and did not care
All night parties from drunk guests in adjacent rooms who also did not care when asked to turn the noise down, in fact turned it up instead 
General bad attitude from staff, saying problems just me being fussy
As a female on my own feel really unsafe
Meant to be staying 4 days but checking out in the morn even tho have nowhere else to go its that bad. Will figure it out somehow. Avoid at all costs

I am here right now in actual tears it is so bad. Cant wait for the morning it is so bad - feel really unsafe
