240 reviewsMost of the time when I have travelled to Italy I have stayed with my relatives, staying at the Hotel Fedora reminded me of this. It's a medium sized hotel with superb facilities, but with such friendly and attentive staff that I felt like I was staying with family. It's location is unbeatable, literally walk out the back door, across a short bridge and straight into the cable car station. The food is mind blowing, starting with breakfast there is a huge selection that caters to everyone, cereals, cooked breakfast, Italian style breskfast, you name it, they've got it. Then there's dinner. A warning though, make sure you do a Lot of skiing, or hiking or whatever before dinner or you will need the services of Weight Watchers when you return home ! First there is the antipasto buffet where there is a selection of 20- 25 different foods !! And then there is a selection of 4 or 5 first courses, second courses and for a final blow desserts !!! Not even my nonna was this over the top ! Our room was very spacious and well furnished, very comfortable bed, great bathroom and even a separate wardrobe / changeroom, plus we had a large balcony with a stunning veiw of the mountains. Fantastic mountains, skiing, food, accommodation, best ski holiday I've ever had, thank you Hotel Fedora !!
