Locanda Del Cassinale 

Like others, we chose to stay here for a night on a trip through northern Italy. The location is excellent being in lovely countryside and, despite being very close to Milan and the A4, isolated and quiet. Gabriele is brilliant, very warm and welcoming and everything a host should be. The breakfast was excellent and our only disappointment was that we weren't able to eat at the Locanda because the chef was away. However, this meant that we got to eat at the local pizzeria "Al Sesia", which was simply wonderful. Also, to keep us going before dinner, Gabriele gave us some wonderful bread and prosciutto with a glass of wine. A beautiful place which we'd happily stay at again, especially if the chef is around!
