Laguna Redang Island Resort

Travelled as a family. Overall the experience was above my expectation as I initially had some reservations after reading some less favourable reviews here. For the price, I would say its quite fair. The room was very clean and comfortable. Water pressure was abit low but still reasonable since this is an island without proper water souce. Without proper water source its fair that water in the room is abit yellowish and its stated clearly that its not meant for drinking directly or even to boil it for drinking. My kids like the swimming pool as well as it was very clean and with different levels of depth to be suitable for kids of dofferent age groups. The food was reasonable as well since its a buffet style. There were some variety availble and food was always promptly refilled if it ever run out. Regarding drinking water supply, we just bought it as the price was just abit more expensive given the limitation of transporting the water to the island. Now the last part regarding snorkelling trips, indeed they were quite many guests for each boat. Maybe around 30 pax per boat. But it was a relatively big boat and there were 4 boats each time. For me, the snorkelling trip was OK as im not an expert in sea life. So it was sufficient to just look around without expert guidance. And also since I have kids with me, needless to say we the parents were most of the time handling the kids in the water. If indeed there is a need for more enriching experience , there are private snorkelling trips available as well. Finally, I was impressed by the service level provided by the resort. The resort was sufficiently staffed and all the staff provided excellent service despite the large crowds. Would return again
