RB La Pilotta

The slightly bad news is that La Pilotta has downsized. The good news is that, if you can get in, it is just as good as ever. The current rooms are part of her own apartment with a common entrance, which has a fridge, coffee machine etc for guest use. The guest apartment then has it's own entrance onto a large sitting/dining room with double bed, settees, television, and breakfast area. Off this room is the bedroom, again large and high-ceilinged with large double bed and plenty of storage and hanging space. Both these rooms have a view onto the street and the pilotta palace and gardens. Don't worry about noise; what there is dies down fairly early and the double glazing is good. Off the bedroom is a large bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, etc and plenty of toiletries and towels. In short you have plenty of space. Breakfast is pretty much when you want it, and pretty much what you want. If you are there more than one night Clementina will adapt the breakfast to your needs; it will be copious, varied, fresh and delicious. The star of the show is still Clementina herself, jolly, full of life, and so helpful, guiding you and booking restaurants if you wish. You would have to be a difficult customer indeed not to enjoy La Pilotta and it's excellent central location. It's our third time here, and hopefully not the last.
