I stayed at Hathern, and was a little apprehensive owing to a previous negative review. Needn't have been, it was 100% wrong. Everything from online check in, good communication, (info sent by text and e-mail),very,very clean room and bathroom. The only "smell" was a faint whiff of bleach in the toilet. In room fridge, Now TV included, reasonable WiFi, clean and fairly well equipped kitchen free laundry and dryer. The only thing the room could do with is a chair. It's way better than a hotel.

Excellent, highly recommended.

Dont no stay at jaylet live there for 3 weeks rooms were disgustin and mattress had piss stains all over it clothes hanger was hangin out the wall bathroom wasnt workin properly the toilet was resting on two bricks would not advise anyone to stay or live here celing had all stains on line there was damp or water damage

I like that fact that they have kitchen for cooking. Half of cooking equipments missing. For example, no blender, oven not in working condition, etc.I like the idea that they provide W hashing machine and dryer for laundry. I good there is dishwasher instead of manual washing up which I have experienced in one their property. A house keeper would be ideal, to clean up the place and change bed linens, as have never see one ever since I started using their properties. A front desk or a maintenance person would be appropriate, to attend to customer’s needs or to fix faulty equipments which they lack in all their properties. Claiming that they have oncall service, that doesn’t responds or act on complaints, which is rude and shocking.Therefore, leaving faulty equipments unfixed, problems unsolved and customers unhappy. They advertised stuff that ain’t available at the properties and that is miss leading !!!

Arrived at Jaylets House via Air BnB, the photos advertised are nothing like the house that you arrive to.

The easiest way to describe the house is a CRACK DEN, I have stayed in some truly terrible places before in my life but this one is unbelievable.

Living Area / Kitchen:
The living area is by far ideal it consists of 3 chairs, cobwebs all over, plants growing through the drywall near BT telephone sockets, dirty windows and warped/mouldy flooring.

Then Kitchen on the other hand is unusable with dirty Pots, Pans & Utensils. Meaning you have to go somewhere else’s to eat.

The cupboards are filled with spiders, dirty food remanence and more mould. The Oven has not been cleaned once in its entire lifetime.

Bedrooms:
Dirty Stained Bedding, unhygienic and stains on the wall.

Hallways:
Radiator Pipes hanging off the wall, loose stairway and more warped flooring.

Bathrooms:
Mouldy Showers, Mouldy Shower Curtain, Broken Tiling & NO hot water.

I WILL BE REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS & AIR BNB.

Health & Safety Nightmare

The room was right by the front door so awake all night and early morning with people coming and going loudly. People smoking weed outside my window made out even better. The bathroom mirror was off the wall and I had to stoop down to shave. On the plus side the heating worked, but it was like a furnace. You can imagine my joy at opening the window right by the front door... And letting the smoke in!

Terrible

Absolute rubbish response.
Truth is they were reported for the terrible state the place is in.
Yes the fire people have visited and have issued a mandatory list of things to rectify.
Bottom line is they have been caught with a unsafe premises. 
£200.000 spent. I very much doubt it.
Done on the cheap. More like £200!!
£200.000 to put it right is what should have been stated.

I have stayed at jaylets motel hathern twice once in the bungalow and there is no fire alarm or extinguisher and the outside door opens in instead of out also doesn’t lock so no security, i then stayed again and asked to be in the main hotel and I got put in 804 which has no windows and the vent was turned off if there was a fire you wouldn’t get out, I then overheard people talking in the kitchen saying the fire alarm doesn’t work in the main hotel and people were smoking in the corridors I thought strange no alarm going off so looked at the box near the front door and it says FAULT HENCE IT NOT GOING OFF also the front door and the kitchen door are always on the catch so anybody can wander in, then there is the bin issue they never get emptied all rubbish blowing round the back all in all terrible place would never stay again.

THIS MOTEL IS NOT SAFE NO FIRE ALARM

People looking to stay at this shambolic place need to be made aware of the following.
Fire alarm in main building not working.
No external lighting anywhere. Trip hazards a plenty. Very dangerous after dark.
Waste bins overflowing with rubbish attracting rats.
One room in main building has no windows. A huge danger for somebody staying there. Thus giving no ventilation. And if there is a fire on ground floor yiu have no escape route. Is this legal or a breach of health and safety. The latter I have been informed.
The annex next to main building has zero fire precautions. Three small rooms crammed in to maximise profits.
There are cables hanging freely along the corridors.
The general state of the place is below par in ever way. Done on the cheap.
Local authorities have been informed of all health and safety breaches.
Please look at attached pictures before you consider stopping at this disgusting place.

Dangerous place to stay.

The advert on the booking site had a different postcode and address to the one that came via text message.I arrived at a converted house - which I hope actually has a license.one arrival, car parking spaces are numbered per room allocation.. mine was NOT visiable, and hidden at the back - covered in rubbish.I walked through the door(auto check-in) and couldn't find my room.I was about to leave, but decided to walk through the kitchen and oh "my room" - i unlocked the door to find a "wheeled bed on a laminate floor", a TV which didnt work unless I had a NOW TV Subscription, exposed pipe work and the main heating pump for the central heating staring at me. the view was of.... well rubbish and a rotting fence.I had been working away in london, and returned - hoping for some rest, before continuing my journey to Cumbria - I nearly left in disgust. but decided to have a shower, etc. a brief rest, and then head on my way north withouth staying the night. all I can say is... The room next to me was clearly audible and must have been "exercising" for britain (no more said) - I left that evening never to return.Sadly, the advert for thie room said Holiday Inn Leicester West - it is far from a Holiday Inn - maybe ok for those guys working away from home looking for cheap accomodation - but... buy your own food and use the shared kitchen.No En-Suites - only shared bathrooms - even pants and socks left on the floor - nice!!!I bet next doors bed covered some miles that night!

False Advertise on Tripadvisor - Won't use again

some of its facilities, however, some equipment wasn’t present while some others are not in working conditions, for example, there wasn’t any refrigeration and the radiator wasn’t working, and no from desk. There on-call service line wasn’t helpful
