I've never stayed at a hotel with such a personal feel to it. I was there to snowboard in Val Gardena and that I did. My room was spacious with a table and bench seating. There was also a sizeable balcony to watch the sun set. Everything was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was European style with enough to give you a great start to the day. The public bus service into town or to Seceda chairlift was right on the hotel doorstep but if I missed it, it was easy to use the hotel shuttle service (for free). Ludwig was the answer to any of my questions. No request was ever too much for him. He truly made my holiday memorable. The location is away from the restaurant centre but dining nightly at the hotel is worth every cent. Multiple courses and a menu that changed daily. I got to experience Italian, German and Tyrolean cuisine (see photos). Loved this hotel. Will stay here again if I get back to this area. This is a deserving 5 star review.
