Hotel Wood Street

We are a family of 5, two adults and three kids, stayed in Hotel Wood Street on 01/05/2020 through 01/07/2020. We want to thank the hotel for the opportunity to stay there and enjoy the family atmosphere it provides. We stayed on the top floor (mansard roof). Although, the rooms were not as big, they were well equipped, clean, and cosy. There was a common dining area with a microwave, electric stove, furnace, laundry machine, sink, water filter, and kitchen utensils and dishes. The premises and the rooms were clean and had a stylish wood decor. The location is very convenient. Grocery stores, tram/bus stations are a short foot walk away. Subway is only 5 minute walk. Many cafes and small restaurants are nearby. The neighborhood is super quiet. The hotel occupies the last floor of a building that appears to be an older apartment block, so it has no elevator for people but it has an outside cargo elevator. It may be problematic for clients with disabilities. Our shower base was elevated, which was fine but stepping down from it can be a problem if the floor is slippery or you are not careful enough. The rooms on the fifth floor are spacier than on the mansard roof. The staff is friendly, welcoming and helps accommodate your request. Mariya gets a special "thank you".
