We love old world and boutique hotels the pride themselves in maintaining the charm and elegance of times gone by..... the Grand Hotel Liberty is one of those. The elegance of this lady is over the top. The lobby is so well appointed that one does not desire to leave its warm embrace. The most elegant woman working reception, Cetty, was so amazing!!! She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was to be perfect. The rooms are smallish, but we only use them for sleeping, so we did not care. The bathrooms are so elegant that one wants to languish in the marble enclosed tub for hours. A marvelous coffee pot in the lobby produces cappuccino any time your heart desires, with plates of sweets to be enjoyed. If you like old world charm, this is your place. Marble and hardwood floors, stained glass, incredible wood work, amazing light fixtures, come and step into elegance at this five star property at a very reasonable price.
