Situated not far from the Embankment, near the Liteyniy Bridge, from where you can walk to the Aurora; also near the wonderful Summer Gardens: you can walk through, then along the Fontanka Canal to Nevskiy Prospekt. It is a pleasant but long walk along the Embankment to the Admiralty. The hotel is one of the new breed of mini-hotels, perhaps five or six rooms carved out of an apt block. Rooms are adequate, have seen smaller in London, modern bathrooms. Light breakfast in your room. Entrance is in the courtyard through the arch, left corner. Value for money is terrific! The Georgian Restaurant just opposite is also good value. Do not miss a post-midnight cruise to watch the bridges open!
