I attended a wedding at Disa River Farm and had a fantastic time at this hidden gem in Hout Bay. The grounds are well maintained and the place has a charming rustic feel to it. The set up for the wedding was done exceptionally well and the staff on duty were efficient and friendly. 
Note: The farm is off the Hout Bay main road itself, do not turn down Disa Road - continue past it and it will be on the right-hand side.

What an amazing farm! Situated underneath the awe-inspiring table mountain, with plenty of amazing areas on the property to relax and enjoy the warm atmosphere. It is a great, central base to explore around Cape Town and bays and villages around. 
The owners are wonderful and extremely obliging, with an excellent knowledge of the surrounding places of interest in the beautiful Hout Bay - always able to recommend a great restaurant or place to spend an evening, no matter what you're looking for, and always a smile. 
The farm animals (chickens, sheep, pigs etc) milling around make this an endearing and and rejuvenating place to stay. After having spent a long stay here, and having loved every second, I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a relaxed, peaceful holiday in Cape Town. 


The room was nice and rustic. tastefully done with lots of air. The Hospitality shown by the owners was exceptional! A home from home environment. I would recommend it to anyone with a feeling for nature and scenery combined with privacy and incredible hospitality, nothing was too much. The owner Dalene went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable at all times.
