We were not originally booked at this hotel, so it was a complete surprise for us. Arrived late at night and had the long walk up the cobblestone alley. Did not receive any information about breakfast or WiFi. No big deal. Went back to office and asked and young man was very helpful. Beautiful room. Very clean. The view in the morning from the balcony was gorgeous. I grumped a little about breakfast as I like granola and yogurt-didn’t have them-and I could not figure out coffee. The woman bringing breakfast items was so kind and helpful. The fried bread she made was delicious. Plenty to eat. Brought us a basket of bread because they were out. Humming the whole time and making the large old wild dog that likes that hotel get back on the couch to sleep. Delightful. It is probably a family run business with a handful or two of rooms so not fancy. Just warm and wonderful.
