Apartments Chalet Maria

Stayed here as a couple visiting the Dolomites for the first time in October. We arrived just after the summer season had finished, so it was very quiet with most restaurants and ski lifts closed until the winter season started. Andrea was a fantastic host, he gave us a map on day one with loads of suggestions for walks, places to see, nearby towns to visit etc. The room itself was perfect for what we needed, a small kitchen area with a hob and microwave, dishwasher etc. Comfortable living space with a couch and TV, large balcony with outdoor seating, bathroom with bath/shower and hair dryer, as well as underfloor heating which was a nice surprise! The bedroom was nice, big enough for 2 with a large comfortable bed. Nice views out the window. Free parking outside. Washing/drying facilities available, and a large garage to store any equipment (not that we had any). It is perfectly located in a pleasant little village, a spa just up the road (1 minute walk), nearby restaurants and pub, but far enough out of the bigger towns that you get plenty of peace and quiet (more notable in the high season). Some good walks straight from the door, and not too far to drive for some of the other walks that we did. It was easy to find and the check in / out was hassle free. Will definitely return one day. Highly recommend.
