Although not part of the package Pepa picked us up from the railway station and took us back after staying for 5 days. The apartment was comfortable and well placed for the old town which has some splendid old buildings. There is a small supermarket round the corner but other shops selling food seem to be in the new part of the town, some distance away. Be aware that in the summer when it can be extremely hot they may close at 2.0 pm and not open again. A slight niggle from my wife was that the cooking area could do with better lighting. Buses every couple of hours to Bejar, worth a day trip or more.
