Fantastic
We stayed at Rokxy 3, me and my two children. We were in the crash suite, room 28. We were only there one night between Eurostar and train the next day. Location: really good location, near St Pancras, Kings Cross and Euston but on a quiet square. This meant that the hotel was quiet and as our room was on the 1st floor I didn't hear other patrons moving about. Atmosphere: My kids really like the decor - they felt they were staying in a fancy hotel. I found the decor fun and I liked being somewhere with a bit of personality. The person at the front desk was always friendly. There was a complimentary cucumber sandwich that my youngest enjoyed and they also loved getting the pot of tea and a biscuit in the morning. Room: the room was good. There's not lots of space, would be tricky with four full sized people. But most London hotels are like this and I thought the room was good for the size. The beds were really comfortable and we had a great sleep. The room was clean and while I knew there was a kettle and microwave I was pleased that there was some basic crockery and cutlery (maybe this was on the list and I didn't see it). It meant we could have a quick bowl of cereal in the morning before our train. There was a fridge with KitKats, water, energy drinks and single servings of milk. I was pleased to learn these were also complimentary. The telly worked fine, was able to sign in to something and watch a film. The bathroom was very neat, with a tiny wee sink. The shower was very good with a movable head, warm (though we were there when it was hot so I didn't have it very hot) and good pressure. I could see some signs of the floor of the shower not being brand new - I have read enough TripAdvisor to know there are some people who take pictures of this kind of thing and feel disgusted but I am fine with it and prefer that things aren't thrown away when they are still fine. But if you feel strongly about this then I guess you need to pay more. I thought the bathroom was clean and neat. The room also had a wee air-condition unit that was good to have on for a bit when we first came in and in the morning when we got up and moved around (lots of body heat in a small space). I liked that they got in touch on WhatsApp in advance so I could check about a couple of things and while I was there could ask questions. They were always prompt and polite in answering. All in all it was a very good stay, and was better than I had expected having stayed in a number of different hotels.
