The hotel is very close to the Grand Mosque. It is just a few minutes away by foot. There is a cafe on the hotel’s ground floor/lobby. The lobby also has free wifi connection, but it is only limited to the lobby area. There is also an ice cream parlour right next to the hotel’s entrance which is a good pit-stop place before entering our room after a hot sunny day. The building itself is also very close to the clock tower, market and shopping complex which have much to offer. We stayed on the 2nd floor, so we often just take the staircase right next to the lifts. Just a slight problem with the air circulation. Even after turning it off, the room is still cold. Unfortunately we couldn’t open the windows as it was locked (but I do understand why they wouldn’t allow us to do so because our room’s window is facing the dark centre of the building. The sight is just plainly dark, nothing to see).
