Hotel is nice in general, room smell old carpet. Due to recession, food is not bad but can be better. Reception peoples are nice but better to speak spanish or you will have a hard time to understand. Reserve directly from the hotel if not on hollidays, half price. the price was 37 USD and in Hotel it was 17,000 BS same room. If you count your dollar on under market at 800, it make +30,000 BS, Hoetl is a little far from Cumana, and you have to take a taxi, it cost different each time we called a taxi. there are no basic price, count between 400 and 800 BS one way. The hotel is far from traffic, so you sleep good. Restaurant closed a 11:00 pm even if they said it close at midnight. The Venetur is hotels in all Venezuela controlled by government.You can have room service and restaurant open around 7:00am for the breackfeast. The beach is right there, no need to take a taxi or long walk, only 2 minutes.
