This was our first time staying as typically we stay down the road at a friends place. It was too packed this year. We opted for Reverse Creek ! What a pleasure, seriously, clean and a wonderful little cabin. Great location, and fun to have other families around enjoying several cabins. Everything you would need in the kitchen is a major plus, as well as its so fun, everything matches ! Nice deck with a gas grill. We placed our Blackstone on top and always cooked outside. We had cabin 7, which is a small 2 bedroom. King bed and two twins, much enough for a small family

Just back from four days at Reverse Creek! What a great experience! Cabin was very nice, clean and the water pressure in the shower was great! King bed so comfortable we cant wait to go back!!! Family run and the nicest family you could ask for!

My husband and I recently spent a week in Cabin 4 joining my brother (he was in Cabin 3) for our annual fishing, hiking and sight seeing trip to the Eastern Sierra.  This was the first time we stayed here.  The cabin was very clean although a little quirky with the non-level floors.  We have stayed in many different cabins in that area and this one was by far the best stocked kitchen (everything you need including dishes for saving left overs - amazing).  The towels were soft and fluffy. The vacuum cleaner actually worked well.  The Wi-Fi was very stable while we were there unlike other places. The owner was very responsive when I called about an issue with our range.  The location is nice - not in town but with easy access to anywhere you might want to go.  Every cabin has its own BBQ on the deck that we frequently used.

I stayed in a very cozy one bedroom cabin. Over many years, I have stayed in a variety of places in the Loop, from the tents to the condos. I believe Reverse Creek Lodge is without a doubt one of the best.

We stayed in Cabin #4 for 3 nights while hiking and fishing in the June Lake area. I would absolutely recommend Reverse Creek Lodge to anyone looking for a comfortable, fully-equipped, and affordable place to stay in the area. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms (king + 2 singles), a full kitchen, a living area, and a 3/4 bathroom. Some highlights: the kitchen was FULLY stocked--had absolutely everything you could need to prepare basic meals, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was EXCELLENT (way better than my shower at home!), and the flat screen TV was actually a smart TV, which was nice for unwinding in the evening. The cabin had strong WiFi, it's own BBQ on the deck, a gas fire place in the living that served as heater for the cabin, and an incredibly comfortable couch. The cabin decor was homey and much-appreciated. The family who owns the property was friendly and kind. We would absolutely stay here again, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about our entire experience here. Thank you for providing such great accommodations and service!

our cabin was excellent....not looking for a timeshare/condo but getting too uncomfortable to be camping in a tent this was an excellent step up! We had a one bedroom cabin - yes it was small, yes it was rustic BUT bigger than a tent, indoor bathroom, shower, kitchen will all amenities and even a TV which we never even turned on - king size bed with very comfy mattress. Right next to a little babbling brook which we could hear in the open windows of the kitchen and on or deck which was small, but had table and 2 chairs and a gas bbq,and private!!! Late every afternoon a few young deer would wander between the cabins and over by the little brook and small meadow. Kitchen had large fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, coffee maker, fully furnished with cookware and all eating/drinking utensils. Small living room had 2 recliners, tv, electronic fireplace, small dining table and 2 chairs......everything you could possibly want or need in this small but very functional cabin. Lots of little homey touches in decor. Temps went down to 32 one night we were there and we were plenty cozy, and after 80 degrees by day it stayed nice and cool indoors until we could open up to the late afternoon air. Very convenient to local lakes and town on June Lake loop, yet felt a world away.
One last thing - this business is run by a family who were exceedingly friendly, helpful, willing to do anything they could to make our stay the best ever. We will be going back.....don't really want the secret to get out as we have found our new escape form the city!!!

Photos don’t do this place justice.  The cabins are so cozy and comfy and well laid out.  Our cabin was very small but had everything we needed and was perfect for us (parents, 9 yo, and newborn).  Wifi works well and the fireplace kept the cabin warm.  There is a nice tv with lots of cable options.  While my husband and son skiied, I spent the day in the cabin with our 2 month old and we were happy all day.  We will definitely stay here again.  

We just got back from staying in one of their A-frames and my parents are now saying they wish they had known about this place years ago.

My mom's disabled but can walk a little, so they made sure to save the one A-frame that has only one step to get up and one step to get in for her. We had the whole place to ourselves which was so nice. We were able to spread out, no fighting over who uses the bathroom first since there was two of them, and a small kitchen so we didn't have to go out to eat for every single meal. 

It was clean and quiet. You'd hardly know anyone else was there at all except for the cars. So easy to get to sleep at night. We loved it so much we've already booked it for next year's trip!

This is privately owned and they are the nicest people. Very friendly and helpful. 
We rented an entire cabin for 4 but it would have been very comfortable for 6. The cabin was clean and well furnished. Set in a perfect pictureque location with mountains and a little stream. It's the best of both worlds. Nature/Mountain setting with cable and wifi. The entire June Lake area looks like a postcard.

Whether it be a cabin or A-frame, the lodgings are clean, comfy and with nature.  We started staying here 4 years ago with friends who've been staying here over 20 years.  It's family owned, the location is beautiful with a small stream running thru the property.  This is our go to!

We loved this place. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Really enjoyed our short stay at Reverse Creek Lodge.  The A-frame was very clean, and set up very nicely for a family stay.  Nice common area in the Kitchen/Dinning/Living Room for a family breakfast/dinner or card game.  Front and Back Decks where awesome to sit and relax on.  the two bathrooms in our unit came in very handy, and both were very clean with good fixtures.

Wish we could have spent more time there

My wife and I wanted to go to a place to for some much R&R and we decided to go to Reverse Creek Lodge in June Lake CA.

This is our third visit to Reverse Creek Lodge.

We rented the one bedroom cabin.

David and his family once again welcomed us with, wonderful family.

We stayed for six nights.  Our goals for this vacation was to relax, unwind, get caught up on reading and some quality time with each other and fish too.

The cabin is well furnished and the kitchen has all the utensils you would need.  Out cabin had a full bath, the king size bed was very comfy, the recliner chairs with the fireplace was wonderful to get the chill out.

We hung out on the deck, listened to the water on Reserve Creek, the blue jays visited regular as did the squirrels and bunny rabbits.  And we saw deer everyday from the deck.

We used the grill most days (stopped in Bishop for groceries to stock up).

Met some new visitors to the area, they too were enjoying the cabin and the area.

We fished at Silver Lake and Gull Lake, no luck, but we enjoyed ourselves.

We highly recommend Reverse Creek Lodge if you are looking to get way or relax or use it as a starting point to see the area.  If you bring your kids, there is a big playground at Gull Lake by the marina that they can run around and have fun.  We always bring bubbles and we gave them out to two families for the kids to use. 

We left a few days ago, my wife and I were totally relaxed and the day to day stress in our lives was long gone.  Thank you David and family, we will see you again.
