I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. And having a parking spot in the lower level garage was a bonus. On my next trip, this will definitely be my first choice.Just one thing to be aware of; our communication with Jamal regarding check-in was done by a phone call and text once we were a half hour from checking in. Only one of our three U.S. based phones had UK voice service so this was not a problem. If you will not have a phone capable of texting and making calls then you may want to let them know ahead of time. I'm sure they have a workaround as they seem to have thought of everything!Again, this flat was superb and made our trip even more enjoyable. I cannot think of a single thing that could use improvement.
