Loved the jacuzzi the view of the river and he best breakfast a man could wish for. Really great service though out my stay and couldn’t wish for more! Made my trip to the southwest more pleasurable! Staying in a clean and affordable hotel I couldn’t ask for more

Great hotel our host Raj was brilliant, very friendly on arrival and made us feel very welcome. We will be back in the future for sure, very comfy beds and the room was very tidy and clean. Great location and right near Wetherspoon. Parking is a short walk away

Functional, clean, central. 
I mean it's a hotel room in the middle of yeovil, with free overnight parking in the cinema carpark.

Basic room with TV, tea and coffee facilities.  A complimentary bottle of water.

When I arrived, there was a chap on the desk to greet me.

I always speak as I find and this hotel was booked for me as a surprise from my daughter for my birthday. After reading the reviews I was quite apprehensive, however, on arrival we were checked in very quickly and went to our rooms. We had a family room and my daughter had a small double. Our room was very clean (carpet was dirty, but I’m not sleeping on that!) beds comfy, sheets very clean and crisp, plenty of pillows and a good TV. Could hear traffic noise but wasn’t too bad at actual bedtime, in fact I thought the hotel had a very calm quiet feel to it! All in all it’s not the Hilton but that is reflected in the price...I would definitely stay here again!

It’s clean and basic but room for improvements. 

We arrived late on Wednesday night and  our room was directly behind the reception area and the room was very small. The room is clean and basic however the bed was extremely uncomfortable and seemed to be faulty as it dipped to one side. We also were left one bath towel for two guests so we had to ask for another towel. The bathroom was extremely tiny and unmovable. You have to push the shower door in to climb in very awkward to get in and out of. If you were a solo traveller you might get away with this room however I personally believe the room should be used as an office for the staff as it just did not meet guest standards. Or remove the bath and have a walk in shower instead as another option. 
 However the hotels location is very handy with walkable distance to shops and cafes etc. 
The hotel has WiFi, smart TV’s  and full length mirror and dressing table in rooms which do help make the room better. 

Also quite noisy so if you’re a light sleeper it’s not too great.

Clean and basic, good location

The front of house staff was very welcoming and advised on everything that I asked
The hotel was fine for what I needed, the only complaint was being woken up in the early hours due to the opening and closing of doors.
My room had lights from the flats behind the hotel and  shine into the room as they seem to permanently on. Location is fantastic 

Location location location

My single room was very small, with no space for a wardrobe, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and it had everything you need, including hairdrier, coffee/tea-making facilities, little biscuits and even a complimentary bottle of water. Because it was a small room, it faced a small unglamorous parking space, which meant it was wonderfully quiet! Yes, the furniture was a bit tired and there was a spot of mould in a corner of the bathroom ceiling, but the water was really hot and the pressure great. You cannot expect luxury at these prices but I thought my room was great value for what I paid. Also, it is in a brilliant location,  5 minutes from the London coach terminus and local buses stop and close to restaurants, the cinema and the town centre.

Basic but good value for money

I have seen some very harsh reviews on this place but it didn’t put me off booking as I like to make my mind up. So we arrived and the front door window had been smashed and it looks tired and dreary to look at. Had to ring a number to be let in and check in which was a quick process. Had a ground floor room small double and it was absolutely fine!! Comfortable bed, clean and tidy and a clean bathroom.  We were right by the main road but still had a good night sleep even with this. For £44 you really can’t complain and if you want luxury then pay for luxury but it did us perfectly fine! 

You get what you pay for!!!

Well situated. The rooms are small (double) and although there was double occupancy there was only one towel.  The Premier Inn is across the road with larger rooms, which is slightly more expensive.  The hotel was reasonable and quiet for where it was situated. 

Nice hotel

Well you get what you pay for its clean and tidy basic rooms decent shower and bath though. Just don't stay here is f you want a lay in or are working nights the cleaners are very loud they shout out to each other down the corridors they also allow the doors to slam etc you would thought seeing the do not disturb sign on doors they would show more consideration!!. If it was not for the very very loud cleaners I would given 5 stars!!
