On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly chap who showed us to our rooms, rooms were very nice and clean, bathroom had a shower and a bath which I prefer for a nice soak after a long walk. Nice being able to open our bedroom door and sit outside on the bistro set and have a drink before going out. We had our evening meal here and it was very nice we all enjoyed, my belly pork was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was nice but not a great variety but to be fair they had a bit a nightmare with the chef having to go on family emergency so they coped well as there must of been over 50 people for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was really nice with very friendly and helpful staff who went out their way to please. My one small thing I must criticise is the drinks prices I know were in the lakes and in a hotel but I feel a pint of lager being £7.90 was a bit steep. But that wouldn’t put me off staying again.
