Bagdale Hall & Annex

Booked for a two night stay, Monday and Tuesday night in early April. We have stayed at Bagdale several times in the past and have never been disappointed. On booking we were told the main building was full so we booked for the annexe, but two days before we arrived the hotel rang us and offered us room 4 in the main building. Reception is easy and helpful as we arrived very early in the morning and were allowed to park our car on the private hotel car park, which is free to guests, a huge bonus when in Whitby. Lovely big room overlooking the main road with a view of the Abbey. Chesterfield sofa and armchair, coffee table and a huge television. Fabulous courtesy tray of tea, coffee and milk and best of all a massive double bed. En suite bathroom with a wonderful hot shower and deep bath too. We had a lovely stay and wished we'd have booked another couple of nights. Excellent breakfast, and just a truly delightful stay in a beautiful historic building right in the middle of our favourite place, Whitby.
