Great little place with sea view cocktails are great good outdoor area wide selection of cocktails

Unsure if they did food have few draft beers on tap would drink here again 

Nice little place, with little back ground music great pub lace to drink

Fabulous place. Really good cocktails. Fantastic service, highly recommend.
Comfy seats overlooking Weymouth beach. Literally opposite the Donkey rides
Long Island tea to die for. And only place we have ev r been does corona on tap by the pint.

We booked a Cocktail Making session at The Nook for our Hen weekend on Saturday 16th March.  Amy was our server and nothing was too much trouble.  We weren't rushed and took our time before heading downstairs for our booked session.  
Amy explained about the Cocktails we were making and everyone had a try.  We had two cocktails each and at the end everyone was given a 'well done' shot.  
This was a great way to start our Saturday night out.  Thank you The Nook and Amy for a great evening.

Amazing can’t wait to re-visit

We arrived at The Nook at 12.12 to be told .We are open in half an hour.. No problem we will come back.. Arrived back half hour later ..young lad putting seats outside.. We asked. Are you  open now he said No .. To which we said we were told half an hour .. .. He shrugged his shoulders and said no we are not open and didnt know when .. Thanks for being so enthusiastic.. Drove past at 1.15 still shut .. Dont bother going.. drinks overpriced and attitude dreadful

The service to get in the room was slow and not welcoming. Then entered the room to find it was filthy.the sheets was covered in hair and stains. Bathroom was disgusting and dirty.the milk for the drinks had gone off.heating was on all night and could not turn off. Shower didnt work properly. Was asked to pay befor even seen the room and if had been shown we wudnt of payed and would of gone elsewhere. Would not be going back again

Weekend away

Filthy carpets, lights that don’t work, entry hall used as a dumping ground, breaching any health and safety rules,  duct tape repairs on bathroom lino, urine stains around toilet, stained mattress, out of date tea bags, chipped paint, dust an inch thick everywhere and absolutely no sign of any staff to complain to.
Appalling and disgusting, don’t do it to yourself.

Dump

Arrived in Weymouth at midday lovely day waited to check in at 4pm couldn't it was all shut up. The girl next door said he was on the beach,finally got in at 5.30pm. The room was basic which was fine but the window was held open by a block of wood. The handle on the bathroom door was broken and you couldn't lock it. The shower trickled out of water until I descaled it. The bed was also held off the ground by blocks of wood and there was a sheet of wood under the mattress. Going downstairs seemed to be a dumping ground for rubbish which was a real fire hazard. Tea and coffee available but the tea was out of date .Now as the other reviews say noise, well we thought it cant be that bad surely the council will not allow it. Well apparently Weymouth council do music talking and a lot of bad language going on till 4am then it carried on to the beach. I can't understand how this place is allowed to operate. I know it is budget but no way would it apply to health and safety. Photos as proof 

Warning 

After a long day working and then traveling down to the lovely town of Weymouth. We found what looked like a a lovely hotel on the front. 

As per the laminated sheet on the hotel entrance door headed in the cocktail bar, turned nightclub area to collect our key. 

As you walk into the entrance for the hotel side, the hall was cluttered with old furniture and even a gazebo. A sign of things to come. Perhaps that gazebo would have offered a better nights sleep.

We were shown to our room. And talked through that if there is any damage that we find to let them know in the bar. Which would be open till four...

The beds were horrific. The bunk bed which is advertised as perfect for three adults. Was creaky as creaky gets. Literally a cough made the bed creak. The double bed was ridiculously wobbly. And looked as though it would collapse at any point. When pulled back the double bed was covered in black stuff. 

As we put our heads down to go to bed. We could clearly hear our neighbor using their toilet. The walls were paper thin. And repairs clearly show they've been put through a few times.

The volume to the club went up and could be felt throughout the building. We were on the top floor and could both hear and feel the thudding of the music throughout the night. Broken up by someone seemingly falling down the stairs followed by a crash. Twice.

Come four in the morning, when the nightclub was supposed to be closing, the music only got louder. And now we have people in their outside seating shouting and swearing as a fight brews. All this abuse can be clearly heard from our room.

It was gone five before the music stopped and the abusive crowd dispersed. 

The morning came and when we got up to get ready for our day. We used the bathroom and reluctantly had a shower with the filthy shower head. 

In the daylight we could see our room better. Stained carpet, cobwebs, grubby kettle. To top it off we were all aching from the state of our mattresses. Every spring could be felt digging into my back, shoulder, hip. 

Come time to leave we realised no one had explained how they'd like us to check out. So we winged it and hung our key up in a little box in the hallway, took a picture and called it a day. 

We would have welcomed speaking to anyone about the night. But it was clear that wasn't going to happen.

Oh to top it off. The cupboard is definitely haunted.

At The Flop House. (If We Could Give It Zero Stars We Would.)

I don’t often like writing reviews on places as I understand sometimes you can catch them on bad days.. 
we had 2 nights booked here we got told to text the manager and ask if we can book in early.. they replied with the door code number and informed us that our key will be hanging up... come down before 9pm to make payment.. right ok..

After a long journey I went up to room 2 to go for a wee and my god I wish I’d gone in my pants... it was dirty the floor was dirty the toilet was mouldy it stank like a morgue...

I text the manager and informed him/her that I would not be staying there as it is dirty and I got the reply of a thumbs up and ‘ hope you enjoy your time in weymouth’

Unbelievable- to make this review worthwhile I thought I would pop into the cocktail bar of the night time.. there was a guy on his own serving people before us even though we had waited 15 mins- cocktails where nice but did catch the guy using different ingredients as he couldn’t find the ones needed for the cocktail.

Feel sorry for the people that work here I have never in my life seen a hotel so run down to the point I’ve walked out before even staying 1 night

Avoid

Would like to say something nice about the service, but as a group of us stood waiting to be served at the start of our night out at an empty bar we were ignored and two other people walked in and was instantly served. The bar staff looked uninterested and it was so poor we left.
