Very clean, friendly host Roger and Sylvia, delicious breakfast, pleasant stay and right in front of the beach, prime location! Excellet overall!!!!

We returned to Lyndale as per our son's wishes to celebrate his birthday for a long weekend away. 

We had a lovely warm welcome from Roger and Sylvia along with a clean and warmly presented family room with an amazing view of the sea.

After a good night sleep in Room 3 we were up for breakfast and the full English is not to be missed. Sylvia and Roger cater really well for allergies and provided alternative options which we really appreciated. Our son loved the selection of cereals, fruit, toast, and juices. 

Roger let us know about key events happening locally which we attended.

We had a dip in the sea before the weather changed overnight. The location of Lyndale is ideal for the quieter part of the beach.

Lyndale is a ten minute walk from the town and very peaceful.

Lyndale was the best B&B we have stayed in.  Roger and Sylvia are delightful, so warm and welcoming.  They respond very promptly to any queries.  We stayed in a sea view room and experienced a stunning sunrise on the first morning. 

The room was spacious and comfortable with lots of little touches that added to the positive experience.  The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and a perfectly cooked full English.  

We have stayed in a number of places in Weymouth but next time, Lyndale will be our first choice accommodation.  I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

Well, thanks Sylvia and roger, from the moment we arrived we knew we would be happy, comfortable and well fed.
The room spotless, the bed comfy and a view of the sea 20 feet away through our bedroom bay window was great,  if not for commitment to come home would have stayed longer, cannot fault the place, the room, the food or the hosts.
Will be revisiting for sure.

Great hosts, friendly and welcoming. lovely,clean  room. Nicely decorated. very comfortable bed. with beautiful sea view. 
Ample breakfast to set you up for the day. Perfect base for exploring surrounding area. Very much looking forward to returning. 
Highly recommend

We’ve been to many many hotels and guest houses all over the uk and this is the best. I can not fault it. I wouldn’t want to. 
The rooms and general hotel is immaculate. You can tell they love the place. 
Our room was small but cute and even though no view I didn’t care cuz I means I can Wanda around in the nuddie 🤣
My other half is 6ft 6 and did have to duck quite a bit. 
The breakfast was perfect. 
The owners are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met ♥️
We’ve had a truly wonderful stay and I’m in love with Weymouth. It’s so clean 
I just hope they have availability when we come back ♥️♥️

Beautiful location. Had a view over looking the sea so peaceful and quite.  5mins from train station lovely walk along the sea front to the B&B.

Our Second Visit to Weymouth and second time at Lyndale

A large group of 9 with ages ranging from 10 to 75

The accommodations were all very nice and clean, traditional and pleasant

Situated in a beachfront cul de sac, so no through traffic meant it was quiet and safe for the children, plus no noisy traffic at night allowing you to keep the windows open and listen to the sea.

The Host family Sylvia, Roger and Conor were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble and had plenty of advice when we were asking about things to do

Breakfast was great and they even kept our vegetarians happy

Location location location when it comes to the beach….it’s right opposite and the sea was waist height so safe for the kids, and it was nice and warm to play in. We were in it every day. Beautiful views straight from the bedroom.

Short stroll into town for all central amenities, good local bus services and we used the car to go that bit further out.

Lyndale was a great stay for the whole family

We had a fantastic stay at lyndale guest house. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. 
We had a room with a sea view what was spectacular and a little seating area where we could sit and watch the sun set. 
Great facilities in our room and a very comfy bed. 
The breakfast what super yummy with fresh juice.. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to come back next year.

A lovely little find

We highly recommend this guest house. Roger and Sylvia were so welcoming and the room we had was gorgeous in every way, clean, lots of space and the most beautiful view of the coast. We had an en suite family room and our daughter was very impressed with how comfy the bed was. The breakfast was delicious and Roger and Sylvia couldn’t do enough for us or our daughter. This guest house is in a quiet cul de  sac and an ideal location for the beach, entertainment and any bus or coach trips. All in easy walking distance. There is short stay parking in the cul de sac at set times but you can use and find other free or long stay parking nearby. We will most definitely be retuning as soon as we can as we loved our stay and found it very easy to enjoy Weymouth.

Fantastic Accommodation - Excellent Location

We stayed here when my partner did the Ironman. The owners could not have done more to make our stay perfect. They were so accommodating and friendly and provided a fantastic service. The location is right on the beach front and is a beautiful place. We stayed in room 1 and it was beautiful. Breakfast was great, lots of options.

Fantastic stay

It's always hard trying to secure accommodation in the summer holidays but I am so glad we came to Lyndale - the hosts were relaxed and friendly when we arrived, giving us much needed bottles of water and showing us to our lovely rooms. We had room 1, a few times nice sized  double with its own private bathroom - there was no view as such but they made a nice effort to decorate the room outside of the window to give something nice to look at, which I thought was really lovely. And we also had room 5 a large double windowed sea view room. Literally on the beach: being able to listen to the waves at night was fantastic. Everything was very clean and the mini fridge in the room helped us store a few bits. The hosts came to my aid when I needed a safety pin, going out of their way to help me. Little things like that make a big impression. Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order. The location is ideal, a ten min walk from the harbour and as a first family holiday for us, this was a perfect base. Thank you!
