Myself and my sister stay here every year(during Crufts). 
It's a small hotel with very friendly staff members,the rooms are spotless and comfortable and the breakfasts are always cooked to order, and are hot and fresh. 
We would choose this hotel time and time again.

Absolutely love this Premier Inn.  Fantastic friendly team who can't do enough to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. 
Very clean, quiet and easy to get to.  We stayed there whilst visiting the NEC (as we do every year).
Extremely comfortable beds and super tasty breakfast, all freshly cooked to order.

The Premier Inn Great Barr was the perfect place for an overnight between our visits to crufts!  All the staff and especially Lisa, were so helpful and friendly and the sleep and breakfast were up to the usual high standards. The Inn is easy to find, just off the M6, with ample parking and spacious rooms.

Lisa and the team were very polite and helpful in the morning whilst we were having breakfast. 
I would recommend staying here again to anyone who is going to the NEC as it’s only a short journey if you need somewhere to save some cost .

Upon arriving we were greeted warmly and we booked in opting to pay the extra for an early check in. The room we had was the standard double which was great for our needs, however when we were leaving later to meet family we discovered the door would not lock this was reported to reception who assured us this would be looked into whilst we were away. 
Whilst out we had a phone call informing us of the progress and that our room had been changed.
When we returned later reception had relocated us to another room, and reduced our bill as compensation for the inconvenience Lisa the staff member we dealt with was very professional and courteous and a pleasure to deal with. Although we had a slight problem with the room I can say confidently that the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and I will certainly stop here again on my next visit home.

Very clean , helpful staff , especially Amie , enjoyed our stay .will stay there again when visiting the area .great central location . Right next to an excellent Curry house . Next to Harvester pup so no need to drive anywhere . Bed was nice and clean

Had a great time staying at the hotel and Lisa was really helpful and friendly. She and the breakfast team made our stay great. Will definitely stay again! Clean rooms and easy to find. Great kitchen staff made us a perfect breakfast. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay and we were very well looked after by Lisa.
Good comfortable room, with everything that is needed. An amazing breakfast with hot food coked to order and a good range of continental breakfast. Excellent staff, plenty of parking, quiet stay, not far to the motorway network.

My daughter and I had lovely overnight stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Lisa who gave us lots of information and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We were directed to local amenities as needed. Breakfast was delicious and staff were accommodating.

Lovely welcome from Lisa the Duty Manager, who even offered to carry my bags upstairs! I didn’t let her do that - but I did accept the chocolate on offer! The rooms are quite small but are great value  for the price and clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed here before as I have friends and family locally. It’s a quiet location and handy having the Harvester next door and our favourite Indian restaurant “Basmati” the other side of the drive. A great stop over and so handy for the motorways.

Family visit to crufts.

Staff go above and beyond

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. I will be staying there again. 
The location was very close to the M6 and the M5 which is very useful but without the noise. The Harvester pub/restaurant is very close and had a variety of meals which were very filling and a fair salad bar which comes with each main meal.

Friendly welcome and great value!

Booked 2 night stay here as we were going to Crufts and the hotel is very reasonable and only a 20min drive from NEC.

We had a family room for myself, daughter and four yr old granddaughter. The room was clean and tidy with comfy beds & pillows and enough room for us all. 

The hotel itself smelt wonderful! I don’t know what cleaning products they use but they smelt lush! 

Breakfast was very good. Lots of selection from a cooked breakfast thru to cereals, pastries, yoghurts and fruit, and even our beloved crumpets! 

Special thanks to Lisa who was lovely and very helpful when I left a bag at the hotel🙄.  I also dealt with Sarah on reception who was really helpful sorting out my left bag!!

All in all a good stay, nothing to complain about, very good value for money, shall be staying here again on our next Birmingham visit!

Good weekend away

It is the first time my wife and I have booked in a Premier Inn, and to be honest it was a good experience. We went to Birmingham for a family weddin and stayed 4 nights only because it was close to the venue and where the family lives.
the room was clean as was the bathroom. Something we observe first on our travels. Although not "fully equiped" like we are used to but hey.....what do expect for a fraction of the price of other hotels. We arrived when it was snowing and the lobby was nice and warm.
The welcome from Lisa, a multi tasking, hard working recpetionst made the trip very pleasant and comfortable Service with a smile and Lisa goes an extra mile to make sure of your comfort. The hot breakfast was freshly made to order and adequate . We did not need any seconds.
The hotel is definitely recommended, and you will not get a more pleasant person than LISA.

Great First time experience

My friend and I were looking for somewhere affordable whilst in Birmingham for the weekend. The price for the night was the main attraction. 

I'm used to Premier Inns and find that I'm often happy with my stays. What struck me about this one was how friendly the duty manager, Lisa, was. We arrived early and were greeted by the cleaner who had just finished her shift. She alerted Lisa to our presence, who allowed us to check in slightly ahead of time, saving us time with our plans for the day. 

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, fresh and made to order. The service was great. 

Lisa was there when we were checking out. She had time for a chat and to find out about our stay. She was happy to let me back into the room after I realised I left something behind, nothing was an inconvenience. 

One of the best Premier Inns I've stayed in, would happily go back.
