Welcoming Staff & cleaning Staff all been brilliant, room was exeptional, however could have done with a loo brush. Only criticism not much choice for Gluten free on menu. We were waiting for a parcel which still hadn’t arrived after checkout. The staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to stay on the premises. Even though we live in Malta, we would definitely stay here again.

Arrived on Sunday afternoon to very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and had a contemporary decor.  The check in process was quick and we were directed to our premier plus room with harbour views.  The room was very clean and spacious and looked out over the harbour, Marine Aquarium and across to the Barbican.  The hotel is in a great location with short walks to the many bars, restaurants and shops on the Barbican, up to the Hoe and the rest of Plymouth city centre.  The weather was fantastic for an August bank holiday and gave the whole area a holiday atmosphere that would rival any Mediterranean holiday destination.  A big thank you to Sofia and Kelly for their time, friendly chat and help with my questions on parking.

The staff were extremely helpful, the room was nice and clean, the location was perfect for walking to all the different locations in Plymouth.

The location was perfect, close enough to be a short walk to the centre, but also quiet and peaceful so we got an excellent night's sleep. We had a view overlooking the harbour. The staff were friendly and served us as soon as we arrived. The hotel was clean and looked nice. 

Great experience. Room was ready so we could check in early - staff all very helpful. Parking charges very reasonable - £6 per day with no extra charges for taking car in and out each day. Ate in the restaurant one night - well looked after by Chrissie and Charlotte. Good location for visiting the Aquarium, Sutton Harbour restaurants and only a short walk to the city centre and the Hoe. Would definitely stay again.

My husband won’t be happy but what else can I say about the beautiful handsome guy called Keaton. He was amazing during our stay. I wouldn’t mind him calling onto my room alone. Keaton needs all the excellence he deserves!!! Beautiful human he is. Please boost him with his hospitality!

Ideal location for where we needed to be, always a good nights sleep and breakfast, good shower, clean and tidy, staff on the ball. Central city car parking, ideal location for a wander around the Barbican as well.

We went back a second time. We first visited in October 2021. Lovely location along the harbor. Everything is within East walking distance. Lovely friendly staff and clean tidy comfortable room. Very welcoming.

The male staff member at the front desk of the Sutton Harbor location was so friendly and kind from beginning of our stay until the end. He was amazing. The vegan options for breakfast were also outstanding. I was so pleasantly surprised and relieved to not just have a cold piece of fruit as my only option to eat. Vegan bacon, sausages, crumpets, cereals, muffins, toast, hashbrowns, mushrooms, beans, and MORE. I will definitely return!

Stayed here for a weekend for a family event. We have always received excellent service at Premier Inn but this one really excelled. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly with a great sense of humour. We ate in the hotel restaurant on Sunday evening and the service was very good. Our chef that evening was Jake and my husband said the steak was the best he had had, it was cooked to perfection and a beautiful piece of meat. I had fish and chips and it also was cooked to a very high standard. Well done Team Sutton, if we come to Plymouth again we will certainly be booking to stay with you.

Premier Plus Perfection Over Plymouth Harbour

Good hotel, good parking, good location . . . .

Arrival welcome not the best. Returned to ask for more hangers, and a thin pillow.  (Looked at 2 extra pillows in a sealed bag described as softer, but they were not thinner).
Duty Manager (Emily? hair tied back glasses) who had  a most unhelpful offhand attitude gave me a blank refusal.  I wouldn't acept that and requested a conversation with a chambermaid.  She fulfiled both requests promptly.

In the following days (stayed 5) discovered that she was quite unlike the rest of the staff, who were helpful, courteous and offered very good service.  Particularly the first morning. Darren and Mark going thru the breakfast offer and making sure I had everything I needed.  Darren was then my go to for local advice and information.  He is an asset.

I was there on 26th Night with my family for the second time, again amazing service the staff were so friendly and make feel like home , even during the Christmas holidays, they work very hard and go extra mile to make you feel comfortable I recommend this hotel if you stay in Plymouth you don't get more friendly hotel staff anywhere else specially Adi/Lucky/Dagmara/Ellie/Joe/ Night team -Mike ,Hannah and Caroline. Keep up the good work guys and thank you so much for your service. 

Make you feel like home Amazing staff 

Overall this hotel did exactly what it needed. We could hear the people above us moving around everytime but didnt make a difference to our sleep etc.  My only bug bear was the inconsiderate parking of other hotel users, at least 5/6 spaces not able to be used because of this. The car park is not that big before they uaed 2 spaces to park!

Comfy stay

Everything you need , lovely clean room (by Nina) nice staff very handy location , there’s a miller and carter steakhouse 500 yards away which was pricey but well worth it. 
Would stay again as my son is in the Navy based nearby. Nice marina / harbour area in front would have liked more time to explore
