I was met by Kay in the Dining rolm which had a log fire burning. She was incredibly welcoming and made you feel relaxed. Nothing was too much yrouble and the room was first class. All other public rooms and kitchen were excellent. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Than you

We loved everything about our stay at this property. We were able to checkin easily at our own convenience thanks to the smooth checkin process put in place by the host. The lodge is located in a wonderful place in Tomatin, near Inverness. The lodge is spotless clean, it has lovely well thought communal areas, our room was absolutely beautiful with a great view, and the host Kay was very sweet and made us feel welcome while giving us all the space and independence to feel comfortable and at our own pace. We wish we had more time at Glenan Lodge.

Super nice host who looked after us amazingly, the room was small and the bathroom was tiny, but the kitchen is really well equipped and great to eat in the dining room next to the fire.  we used this as a base to explore the Inverness area and it was a great price for our budget.  our shower was quite underpowered and difficult to use, but the host made up for that with a free bottle of wine and called the plumber straight away.  would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely and beautiful accommodation. Location is a little isolated so thankfully had a car to go to other places to eat while visiting as we didn’t have time to get or prepare anything for meals (there was a well equiped kitchen on site). Lovely place to stay and we had a good time.

Great common kitchen for self catering. Great as a base for traveling out into surrounding landscapes.

Kay was warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and was a convenient location for our explorations of the Scottish Highlands. Just be aware there is no lift and the rooms required climbing stairs, as do many European establishments.

Our host Kay was wonderful. She made the best haggis I’ve had to date only to be topped by her amazing Pavlovas for dessert. Breakfast was also delicious. Wonderful, comfortable rooms with amazing baths in a quiet setting. Would definitely go back.

Overall we enjoyed the night we spent at this rustic property. The road in to the location is a back road but was well signed. Our SatNav was a bit confused - but take your time and pay attention to the signs and you’ll be fine :) Good size room with comfy bed. The shared kitchen was a nice plus and we were able to enjoy our own wine in the general living area which was nice as well. Would definitely return.

Glenan Lodge is a lovely property. Everything was well set up, clean and comfortable. While it’s set in a lovely location, there’s a drive required for any dining options. This was perfectly fine for lunch and dinner (Carrbridge was fantastic) but I would have liked a breakfast option in the property itself.

We stayed for 3 nights. We highly recommend this place for multiple reasons, it is comfortable, clean and in a very convenient location, close to attractions in all directions.But what makes a place truly great is the people running it and there is no better host than Kay. Good manager, great cook and above all a great person!!

Lovely quiet location. Slight mix up with the booking on arrival but quickly rectified. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfask really nice. The bar although small offers a good selection of drinks.The available evening meal was a home cooked meal with limited selection but grealy appricated after a long 400 mile drive. Would certainly book here again.

Lovely little guesthouse, home from home.

Ideal little hotel tucked away from any villages or main roads so its delightfully quiet.Service and hospitality is excellent and the hotel is nicely presented.The room we had was no frills but perfectly comfortable and clean with a nice on-suite bathroom and everything else we needed for the stay.WiFi was included and worked well considering the location and parking was plentiful and easy to access.One note though, there are two ways to get to the hotel - one though The Tomatin Distillery which is fine. The other, which SatNav will choose, has a very tight tunnel suitable only for cars and small SUVs.Overall though I'd definitly recommend Glenan if you're staying near Inverness. Inversness town centre is literally 10 min drive and Loch Ness 20 mins.

Lovely Hotel

Everything about this property was welcoming and thoughtful. From the welcome when you arrived, to little touches like the selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in your room. The drawing room was so cozy I could have sat and read in it all day. A lovely assortment of choices for breakfast and it was delicious. Wish I had been staying here longer.

Great small B&B close to Inverness.  Owner is very warm and friendly.  Nearby are fields with sheep and a distillery.  The owner makes dinner each night and is very hospitable and breakfast is also provided.  We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back if visiting again.  We also left some tour books from our vacation and the owner was very gracious to box them up and mail them back to the US for us which was great as we had a lot of memories we left by accident.  Can't say enough good things about this play and the great stay we had there.

The staff at Glenan Lodge was outstanding. Very helpful with any thought we needed,beyond expectations.It was a very restful stay and conveniently located between Inverness and Speyside tourist attractions.We had one small issue with our shower drain, but did not bring it up to the staff. The were very responsive with anything we needes.
