Meeson Hall

Outside of Telford we booked this lovely cottage named "Housekeeper-Cottage" for 2 person. The location is extraordinary for lovers of historic buildings. Meeson Hall is beautiful old manor dated around 1650 surrounded by a large park with old trees, hidden garden rooms and green gras fields. The landlords are very helpful and allowed us guests to use the gardens and the park for walks when ever we wanted. Our cottage was built in the years around 1870 as an annex of the main building. It provided us a large living room and a kitchen on the ground floor with a small table with 2 chairs in the hall room. The stairs lead us to the upper floor with the bathroom with shower cabin and the sleeping room with a large and comfortable double bed. The rooms are uneven and rustic as expected in an old historic building. The kitchen has modern equipment with everything what was needed for our 2 weeks stay. We love this old buildings and the nice pictures we could take around this historic place.
