We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stone House Hotel in one of the garden rooms.The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean, and spacious, with a lovely big bath and nice toiletries to use (bath/shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, hand wash).Not necessarily negatives, but things to consider:Being in a garden room, we had patio doors out. It was lovely, however meant we didn't have a window to open when it was warm, and we didn't want to leave a door open overnight!Also, to access these rooms you had to go up stairs, and then back down, despite them being on the ground floor. I don't think there was any other access to them.Breakfast was lovely, lots of choice.We had dinner in the Indian restaurant one night, which was also very nice.Stone is a 20 minute walk away, and has some nice places to eat and walks along the canal.We would definitely stay again if in the area.
