My wife and I were part of a coach tour. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manageress. Very friendly and helpful. Allocated room 17. Yes, the hotel is dated the decor is in need of refurbishment but everywhere was spotless. The bed was comfortable and ground floor garden room quiet. Although the hotel would benefit from refurbishment hence 2 star rating...the staff and food were amazing! I would highly recommend the ribeye steak and the beef Espetada. Both cooked to absolute perfection. The meals are all freshly prepared. Quality and quantity definitely 5 star. Buffet breakfast again, wonderful. Thank you all at the Runnymede.
