Had a lovely stay here in a new caravan at the back of the park, we were welcomed by a really lovely man named Shaun who explained everything to us and how to find our caravan. The takeaway delivery service on the food was fantastic as our little boy was in bed early and they dropped our food round to the caravan after ordering on the app! :) We will definitely stay again, the team in the arcade were friendly, the co-op team were smiley, and it’s not far from the main shops and beach.

We arrived on Monday the 12/11/24 to the 15/11/24 Monday to friday.We was allocated croft marsh no 51 but when we walked in we noticed it did not have a freezer.went back to reception and spoke to a young girl (did not get her name).explained cos of my dietary needs we needed a freezer.she had a look on the computer and said she could move us to a 3 bedroom caravan that had a freezer box. This time we was in 56 friskney green.Would like to say thank you.Also the guy at the gate house was always friendly and always said hello to you.Went to the pub on site on Monday (Richmond arms) we both had the gammon it was lovely.All the staff was friendly.It was our first time at this holiday park and we have  had a good holiday.When we booked on line we decided to do the hideaway so did not have the passes so can't comment on the entertainment or the swimming.We would come back and have another holiday here but next time pay that bit extra for the holiday so it includes the passes.


Stayed in 1 of the new silver grade vans with central heating and ensuite. Very nice. Clearly a lot of money has been spent on the site since Haven took it over and the result is a vast improvement though the fish shop kinda charges far too much for their stuff. Lost out on a lot of trade from us 7 while we were there. Despite this, we are on the point of rebooting.

P.S. the little people loved the seal rescue place on the seafront

Over 100 of us Triumph Owners stayed here for the Skeg Fest weekend. 
6 Berth statics were immaculate. Dog friendly. Please note we always take a hoover with us...and clean up any dog hairs.
Music was good in the evenings Especially Absolute Madness. First Class !!
Bar prices reasonable. Staff and Security were amazing friendly and helpful. 
Bike Show in main hall was well attended both exhibitors and spectators. 
All in all a fantastic weekend 😀 🏍☁️

Spent a lovely relaxing week at Richmond holiday centre .Had a few hiccups with the caravan ,but all sorted out quickly .Will book to go back here next year .Entertainment was excellent ,and food and drink was reasonably priced.

came to richmond again for the 30h year, excellant hoilday again well done richmond. i am sad that the richmond family is giving it up and retiiring. i just hope that heaven wont spoilt the site by upgrading too much, I like it just the way it is.  pity we could book for 2023 at the office ,had to book for 2023 though heaven . we wanted a disabled van could not get one

Great for families especially with little ones, about 15min walk to centre and 10min to nearest beach, some lovely caravans too,concert room and arcades are massive. Nice grill and bar and pub tavern, corner shop well equipped too

We decided on a very last min break for the August Bank Holiday after not having a holiday since August 2019 due to COVID and me being high risk. Usually going to Butlins and Haven, and due to the current cost of living, we settled on Richmond after managing to get their last pet friendly van (it was also our first holiday with our 1 year old pup) at a very decent price, only 4 days before we wanted to come! It appeared to have everything the big sites have, but much more reasonably priced. I was further reassured when I saw online that Haven have actually bought the site and will be operating it from next year (we've said for YEARS that Skeggy needs a Haven!)

Upon arrival we were pleased to see that our van was right next to all the facilities! This couldn't have been more perfect for me as I suffer chronic pain and mobility issues which I had mentioned on booking so they may have put us there purposely but it was a relief either way! If you are put further afield, they do have a large car park close to all the amenities which I saw lots of elderly people making use of in the evenings.

The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced, and the fish and chips we enjoyed one night were very tasty. Our children (14 and 9) loved the arcade, and we cannot recommend the inflatables session at the swimming pool enough! It was a huge hit, even with our 14 year old who barely sees the light of day at home! Special mention t the 2 young lads who were lifeguards, they went out of their way to ensure the kids had a great time, squirting them with the hose and pushing them in! 

We didn't use the restaurant as were only there for 3 nights, but the prices seemed reasonable, and hubby was pleased to wander down there with the dog whilst I took the children to the evening entertainment.

Great prices here too, 4 games of bingo for £6, and the drinks weren't expensive either. BRILLAINT sweet shop for the kiddies to spend their pocket money too, and the food here also looked good but again we didn't try it only being there for a short time.

Entertainment is already top notch and up to Haven standards. Our youngest enjoyed the party dances and games, and the tribute groups we saw on the 2 nights were excellent too. We were worried about possible noise late at night being so close to everything but we literally didn't hear a peep!

The site is in a brilliant location, just a few mins drive from central Skegness and Ingoldmells, and the site itself is lovely to walk around in the evening with the dog. We couldn't tell our van was pet friendly - no hair or to be seen or doggy smell either! Beds were sooooo comfortable and we loved having our own en suite toilet!

Actually don't have a bad word to say about this lovely little holiday park, apart from we are really disappointed that we have now tried to book for a longer break in the October half term but nothing is available. So we can only hope that Haven don't bump the prices up too much, as we definitely want to return next year!

Gold plus 2 caravan, was spotless and right near the play park which was great for the children. All the staff were friendly and the park itself is immaculate!! We ate at the Bar and Grill 2 nights and met a lovely staff member called Shawn who went out of his way to make us welcome and made us laugh! Thank you Shawn! The entertainment by Just Richie and Richie Rabbit was amazing they really are great!! Can’t fault and will be back next year but disappointed to find we can’t rebook as changing to a haven! Hoping not much changes!! Thank you all!!

we have been coming to Richmond for about 10 years and will continue, everything fab about this site ,very clean grounds . staff lovely and entertainment and chip shop great, really enjoyed bingo , Thankyou

We've stayed at this site on two occasions now - both at the same time of year - and apart from a couple of small niggles, can't fault it. As we've stayed out of season, I can't comment on the entertainment side of things or the pool (neither of which we've attended or made use of) but everything else on this site is, for the most part, excellent.

We have two dogs, so the fact we can take them to most areas on site is fantastic. They both love the Bark Yard too, which is a small fenced off area with an agility course inside, designed for dogs to burn off a bit of energy. It's well maintained and has always been empty when we've been, meaning our two have had the run of the place.

Of the facilities we've made use of on site, all have been great. The shop has all the standard pantry cupboard items in stock - milk, bread, cereal, snacks, etc - along with a handy frozen food section and Costa coffee machine, whilst the arcade has a variety of games to keep every family member entertained, whatever their age.

On a less positive note, the selection of on-site food establishments is quite limited. There are three fast food outlets - Burger King, a fish and chip shop and Papa John's pizza - and The Richmond Arms, which is a restaurant/pub/bar. Of these, we only visited the fish and chip shop which was one of the few issues we experienced during our stay. Prices are high when compared with other establishments in the town centre, and service was s-l-o-w. We placed an order for two regular portions of chips one evening and waited almost 20 minutes for them to be cooked and served. The whole place seemed in disarray, with people placing orders only to come back 20-30 minutes later to be told it was still being cooked. Not the best experience when you consider it's the only on-site chippy too, unless you're happy to have Burger King fries instead!

The site is within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre, both at about 20 minutes, with the beach walk taking you through a lovely wooded area along Vine Walk and Coronation Walk. This was an ideal route for a dog walk and we took this route a number of times during our 5 day stay. It was never busy and as an added bonus passed by an open area known as Beresford Field, allowing us the opportunity to let the dogs have a run around off lead too.

In terms of accommodation, both of the caravans we've stayed in have been fine. However, this is where another of our little niggles was. The type of caravan you choose on the Haven website, seems to bear no relation to the type you actually end up in. The one we had in 2023 - although technically lower spec according to the website - was actually better equipped than the one we had in 2024, despite the website claiming that one was better! It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things and definitely wouldn't put us off staying here again, but I wish Haven would be a little more transparent about how they decide which caravans are which based on your booking type, mainly so you don't turn up expecting one thing and end up with something else (that's not as good).

Overall, we like this site and will likely stay again. The fact that it's so close to the beach and town centre, is dog friendly and has all the basic facilities on site, makes this a great choice, especially out of season when it's much quieter too.

An enjoyable stay,looking forward to return

Check in was the easiest we have had. Arrived at the park and was met, informed that at our check in time go to our caravan and keys and information would be inside for us.  Once done this checked in on app. Caravan was just what we needed. 
Tried the food on site, burger King, Papa John's, Cooks fish & Chip shop and The Richmond Arms during our stay.
Papa John's disappointed due to really doey bread and the Richmond Arms lacked good service due to forgetting 3 items on our order and staff not being as welcoming as the rest of the complex. 
Entertainment was great in the main complex, something for everyone. Staff were so pleasant and greeted you every time you entered and left. 
Bar prices are a little more expensive but you can order from your seat to your table and server's were curtious and pleasant. 
The grounds are kept clean and tidy and each morning early, we saw a man go out with a litter picker and make sure there was no litter about. 
My family had a great time, unfortunately on a negative side there were no mattress protectors on and on the last day, 3 out of the 5 of us ended up with bites. We stripped the beds and found evidence of bed bugs. This was reported at the reception who informed us that staff are being bitten also by midges and didn't believe it was bed bugs. 😳  (confirmed bed bug bites when checked out once home) I have reported that to the Haven site directly and waiting for a response. I have recommended mattress protectors and a change of mattress for our caravan in particular just to stop others going through the itchy sore spots we have had to contend with.
The holiday itself was great and the whole family had a great time and would visit again if they used Mattress protectors and kept on top of changing old ones for new.

Family enjoyable establishment 

We’ve just come back from a 4 night stay with our 2 dogs in a saver 2 bed caravan, we enjoyed it and the dogs definitely did. With having the dogs we didn’t need entertainment passes etc and used it as a base. We’d not been to Skegness for a few years and it was nice to visit although next year we’re gonna go to Mablethorpe. Check in was easy. No barrier but a lady was waiting outside reception with map and gave directions. We were in 35 Gibraltar Point which was just off the first road on left hand side. A couple of minutes walk from the pool,  shop etc. The caravan was very clean and decent size. However there wasn’t much storage space in kitchen without moving things around. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc tho. No hooks for coats, dressing gown etc and brushes were in bathroom. Bathroom was great size and good shower although I had to shout for hubby as I couldn’t open the door with wet hands. Plenty of storage in main bedroom but the bed was so uncomfortable. Soft mattress abc you could feel the springs. First 2 nights didn’t sleep much but the sea air caught up on day 3. The living room area was a good size.
We didn’t eat from anywhere on site. Had great takeaway food from Goa Cuisine and De Bao. Another night we had a steak meal after a walk to Tesco 10 mins away. There’s a shortcut if you walk to the top of the main road up from reception.
We parked outside the caravan. We had bad weather for 2 days so spent more time in the caravan chilling and watching tv, I did some knitting. It was good as a base but probably wouldn’t stay again as we like to try different places. It was a good price for a short break away with our dogs. TBH we’ve compared haven prices to private caravan rental and they can’t be beaten. Small deposit and monthly payments.
There’s a dog bark yard but it’s tiny and ours weren’t bothered. Would be better with a large enclosed area to run.
The site is about 10 mins walk from town.

The holiday park has excellent facilities, the caravans are of a good standard. Drink prices are slightly higher than pub but nowhere near the level of some other parks I have visited. 10 minute walk into Skegness and quiet at night. Would go again.

Good Value.

Nice quiet site, nice comfortable caravan, shop on site was well equipped, bus station not far from site to catch bus to many places, just needs updating on site quite old fashioned, food was nice in restaurant / clubhouse , reasonable prices.
