The Pheasant Inn

From start to finish The Pheasant exceeded our expectations. Lewis and his team really looked after us making us feel welcome. 
The food was also excellent and surprisingly well presented. 
The room was sizeable and comfortable. 
Would highly recommend if you need a room just off the M4 motorway.

What a great hotel - I stayed here for 1 night and was given the loviest room - it is a pub with rooms above and it is superb. The bed was so comfy and it actually felt like being in a house. The pub itself was very friendly and the food delicious. Everything was quiet and I really couldnt fault the room decor (modern), the bathroom (modern) and the amenities in the room. 

This is why chain hotels are not the answer all the time! This place blew some of the top hotels I have stayed in out of the water!

Very comfortable room, decent food and outstanding staff. 
Room has effective blackout curtains good shower and all you’d expect in a hotel at twice the price 
Very close to M4. Handy for fly fishing on the Tennet or for all equestrian activities nearby.

The bed was really comfy, huge bath with two shower heads, clean and homely room with everything I needed. I felt right at home the minute I arrived.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too.
The food in the pub was also great and the staff were really friendly. I would definitely go back.

Lovely cosy pub with beautiful accommodation. The food was generally very good. The ladies behind the bar so friendly and efficient. I even met the head housekeeper who very kindly gave me a late check out. Will be back for a leisure stay as this time I was working so didn’t get to really enjoy the lovely place!

We had a lovely welcome and a cosy, beautiful room. Fab decor, amenities and toiletries. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Food and service was great and we would definitely return when in the area. Location is an hour from Heathrow and very easy to get to from the motorway.

I have stayed at the Pheasant Inn about 6 times, and it is always an enjoyable stay.

The rooms are clean and well stocked with toiletries, the room had a kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits

Thursday lunchtime. Obviously a popular eatery. Great atmosphere. Service was attentive and polite. Quality ingredients, well presented and good value. Highly recommend the cottage pie with fresh greens. Definitely will be back next time in the area

My second stay at The Pheasant, both times on my way to Heathrow. Such a great location for ease of access to the airport (under an hour) but also such a great place to stay. My sister & I shared a beautiful twin (Room 12) with lovely bathroom that had both a bath & shower. Delicious evening meal & breakfast & the service was exceptional throughout. Would highly recommend.

The staff were friendly, helpful and they all made a lovely fuss of our dog. We could not have been made more welcome. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and we both got a great night's sleep. Overall, we could not have been happier with our overnight stay.

Another Comfortable Stay!

Great stay on way to Heathrow

This is a super little Inn with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We had a delicious evening meal and an excellent full English breakfast the following morning. It was heavenly relaxing with friends by the open fire. The bedrooms are well appointed, cosy, clean and the bed was very comfortable.

A really super little Inn with great food!

Booked a one night stay several months ago through Mr & Mrs Smith. However, having read a few of the more recent reviews, was apprehensive that the stay wasn't going to be great.
Stayed in the Tiny Room (15) which was small but perfect for a night away and tastefully decorated, and with a good size bathroom with Bramley bathroom products.
It would appear that there have been management and staff changes in the last couple of weeks and while some of the staff are still getting to grips with the place, I cannot fault the welcome, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the service and food. It looks like they have made a good start to address the recent issues.
We had a great stay and would be keen to revisit and see what further improvements are delivered in the coming months.

Friendly Staff

After reading the reviews and my Mum having various issue when trying to organise her party I did not hold out much hope. I was pleasantly surprised. On Sunday my mum had a party for 20 and we all stayed over. I am a manager in the industry myself so may be over critical but almost everything was amazing the rooms lovely bed comfortable pillows and linen room spotless only downside I would of liked a bath. Michelle who run everything was amazing doing many different jobs at once the service and food was great. The only small negative was the staff member at the end of the night who asked us to leave was rather rude and abrupt .My Mum had a amazing birthday celebration.
