Got to be one of the nicest guest house I've stayed at. breakfast was one of the nicest. At the area was fantastic. A must stay and I'll certainly go back.

My husband and I recently had a 1 night midweek stay at the Tamarind. The owner was very friendly but not too imposing which is something that can tend to happen in guest houses. Made to feel very welcome. We stayed in Room 6....spacious, spotless and very comfortable . Luxurious bed and bedding . The bathroom whilst on the smaller side was very clean and had an excellent shower. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast which was of a very good standard. I would recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

We have just had a two night stay at the Tamarind and personally could not fault it.

The welcome that we received from Christian was lovely, a gentleman who even carried my suitcase up to my room for me.

The room was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything that we needed.  The bathroom, whilst small, was very clean with a fantastic shower and plentyful hot water.

The bed was very comfortable and we had a brilliant nights sleep both nights. We turned off the radiator and opened the window as it is still unseasonaly quite warm.

Breakfast was very nice with a choice of cereals and orange juice followed by a full English consisting of one egg, two rashers of bacon, a hash brown, one sausage and tomato and baked beans.  Toast accompanied this with a plentiful supply of butter and jams and marmalade all washed down with filter coffee.  More toast was offered but that would have been greedy of us as we were already bursting at the seams.

The dining room was cosy but more than sufficient for the amount of guests accommodated for at this establishment.

The young lady serving at breakfast was also super friendly.

Will we return to the Tamarind? Most definitely and we will certainly be recommending this little gem!

Me and the wife and two freinds stay for 5 days  rooms very comfy breakfast exceptional the owner christian goes out of his way to help and advise on places to eat and visit         brilliant  roll on next year

We liked our time there and would love to go back but I am not sure if it is still open As it was a very nice and comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very good. And the welcome made you feel they knew you all your life
