Hands down the best getaway I have ever been on by far. The hospitality was beyond exceptional and this beautiful B&B could not be ran better than by its two perfect hosts - Darren and Anna.  It is literally a home from home and absolutely spotless with gorgeous bedrooms and en-suites, adorable little touches and an amazing breakfast service. This isn’t just any B&B - the hosts go above and beyond their means to provide the best quality and ensure you feel extremely welcome and confident in your stay. I have already booked again for May next year! Thank you so much.

Excellent accommodation lovely family run b&b. Our room was well equipped and exceptionally clean. Everything we needed for a 3 night stay with a great breakfast with lots of choice. Good location for walking but also good local transport links to Whitby and Scarborough. Anna and Darren on hand to answer any questions about where to go and what to see. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by. Would definitely recommend and stay here again should we come back up to the area. Lovely b&b lovely friendly hosts. Thank you

 We had a lovely stay. Darren and Anna were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful regarding the places to visit in the area. The room was very clean, comfortable with all the amenities provided. The breakfast was excellent and a wide choice available. We will certainly be returning to stay with them again in the future.

This B&B provides more than you'd normally get from a bog standard B&B. For starters, in terms of cleanliness, the rooms are spotless, absolutely spotless. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and have fantastic pillows, not the normal wafer thin efforts plated up by your average B&B. The breakfasts are great with some good choices on the menu, you are asked to select your choice by 9pm on the night before on a form provided. In the room you have a huge TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, an Alexa for music and radio, and a mini bar.  Check in is 4pm and you are unable to get a car parking pass prior to this time, so bear this in mind and bring coins for the car parking if you intend to arrive prior to 4pm. We really enjoyed it here and will return, it was a great place to return to after an afternoon walk before going back out again for the evening. This is a family run b and b and you can tell that the hosts care a lot for their guests and want to give them the best experience.  Other visitors may not like the Check in times, but to be honest having stayed there, I'd rather Check  in at 4pm and enjoy the quality, than check in at 2pm and get a bang average B&B. 

Second stay with Darren and his family . Couldn’t fault anything and Darren was so helpful and accommodating with our dietary requirements. Room was spotless and we look forward to seeing you again next time we visit the bay 

Myself and my wife stayed at Birtley House and will definitely be staying again, Darren, Anna, Dalton and Otto made our stay perfect.
Our room was beautifully clean with drink sachets aplenty and also housing a room with goods that were purchasable.
Towels were fluffy and we'll stocked.
Our bed was ideally comfortable for us with plush pillows.
The hosts were attentive and knowledgeable and tended to our every need.
Birtley House offers a superb cooked Breakfast made by Darren himself and this is without doubt a quality start to any day however the hosts also offer alternative breakfasts should you require something else.

We will definitely be staying at Birtley House again.

Fantastic B & B couldn't do enough for you.on the Saturday I had my race and because I wouldn't be there for brekky they  sorted me a lovely continental I visited whilst in RHB for a running race. Very clean, extremely friendly and delicious breakfast. Super value for money and lovely rooms with everything you need

Gorgeous little B & B in Robin Hoods Bay.  Darren and Anna were fantastic hosts.
Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfy.  We also had a lovely view of the moors and the bay.
Breakfast was lovely, good quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.  Possibly the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a large group that stayed in various accommodation around RHB. How lucky were we to have picked Birtley House! Darren and Anna were superb hosts. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfortable with lovely soft pillows. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice and superbly cooked.  Parking was in the main car park across the road but we could purchase a pass from the B&B to get at it a substantial discount. All in all a fabulous experience and can’t wait to return. Myself and my husband have just returned from a two night stay at Birtley House. The owners, Darren and Anna couldn't have been more welcoming, so helpful and friendly.  Darren was full of advice and had a vast knowledge of the area from walks to eating out. Our room was spotlessly clean, plenty of room and a super view of the bay. Breakfast was top notch, kept us going all day for our long walks. We would highly recommend Birtley House, we will definitely be going back. Dalton was an added bonus. Thank you Darren and Anna for a special, memorable few days

Excellent from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Darren and Anna are perfect hosts. The whole place was clean and friendly. Room was huge with great views and TV with Netflix and prime available too. Shower fantastic, bed and bedding exceptional. Breakfasts- superb choices and delicious. 
Location couldn't be better and car park pass for the stay was welcomed too.
It just felt like a home from home.
