Lovely peaceful stay in a gorgeous location. The room was beautiful and well equipped, and the hotel had board games and books to use during our stay. Delicious food and drinks available in their bar area, with friendly and helpful staff. Strongly recommend!

Lovely little lodge with such character. The hosts were very welcoming and the lodge is decorated with gorgeous little touches that just make the place stand out. Our room was upgraded on arrival which was lovely. The Laird Suite was spacious and well appointed. Both the breakfast and dinner were high quality and well presented. We would definitely recommend and return when we’re next in the area.

Really special home with historical details in a quiet and romantic glen. Very comfortable and cozy bedding and luxury bathroom. We really loved the breakfast and the carefully selected antiques throughout the lodge. Truly a gem, would definitely return!

It is a wonderful place in the middle of the Highlands. The house has lots of charm.
The interior decoration is made with great charm by the couple who receive us.
We were received with kindness and efficiency. The dinner is delicious and typical of Scottish food.
The room is spacious with a very large bed.
In short, you understood it, we loved it and we highly recommend to do the same as us

We enjoyed a wonderful but all too brief stay at Suie Hunting Lodge. It was both peaceful and comfortable but also warm and welcoming and we had a great evening in the restaurant and the drawing room afterwards. The hotel is lovely and a welcome deviation from the twee trappings of many tourist hotels - no ‘traditional’ music on a loop! The food was excellent, as was the wine and we were well taken care of by the very friendly family owners. There are nice easy walks nearby and it’s also conveniently close to the Falls of Dochart. I feel it would be sensible to visit soon before this haven becomes extremely popular - it was still under development when we were there but when finished I expect you will need to be quick on the ‘book now’ button to get a reservation!

We booked the Suie Hunting Lodge for our anniversary and it was a fantastic experience. Excellent room and great food
The Hosts were friendly, accommodating and had a great knowledge of the area recommending walks, places to visit and where to eat.

My husband and I spotted the Suie Hunting Lodge by chance whilst looking for somewhere to stay for our wedding anniversary. 
The hotel is in an idyllic setting. Although set next to the main road, it had a sense of calmness and tranquillity. Our hosts were very welcoming and non intrusive. The room was everything we expected. We had booked the King Room with luxury bath. it was quirky and cosy. 
Breakfast was very tasty and the staff really couldn't do enough to make sure we had all we needed in the morning. 
The communal sitting room was also quirky with the eclectic furniture and taxidermy beasts!
The owners gave us hints and tips as to where to visit. 
If you are looking for a total switch off (as in not much internet access) this is your place. 
Only one little thing to improve on- there didn't seem to be a light on the staircase leading to the bedrooms. Although there was still some faint daylight in the evening, it was difficult to see.
All in all, if you want a unique hotel experience this is the place. Would love to visit again. 

The whole experience was fantastic. The lodge, staff very pleasant and food was different but very good. I would recommend this for a break. The lodge is still in the updating phase. But what they have done is well done.

What a great find! Decor is stunning in the reception rooms and bedroom/bathroom we had. Menu was limited but food was delicious and lovingly presented. Great drinks selection, and wine was fab. 
If you want a quiet, no wifi night away from it all I would definitely recommend. And my insomniac husband slept like a baby! 

We really had a lovely weekend at Suie Lodge.  The house is beautifully designed and you can see so much love and thought has gone into the decor.  The fire was so toasty.  The hosts (Pauline and her husband) were so friendly and helpful.  Every meal was delicious and we both felt very spoilt.   I really felt I had relaxed fully by the time we left.  It is a very relaxing environment as well.  I really wish this lovely couple continued success with their beautiful boutique hotel.   Míle buíochas, Martin & Paul

Suie Hunting Lodge- Cosy, quiet with a quirky feel.

What a find!

Beautiful stay....wonderful weekend

The B&B was wonderful. The lodge had a nice, homey feel to it with a fireplace in the eating area/bar that helped give it a great ambiance. The room was wonderfully redone with a modern rustic feel.  There were several options for breakfast and a small bites menu for the evening, which for us turned out to be the perfect size for dinner. They were very helpful for giving us hiking recommendations for the area and day trip ideas. The lodge was quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend the lodge for anyone looking to get away to a emote areas and for some wonderful hiking and views of the beautiful countryside.

Countryside Getaway

We stayed for one night and it was a lovely getaway. The whole place is tastefully decorated and Pauline was very pleasant. Clean, comfy room with a great shower. Close to Ben Lawers car park for hikes if you're so inclined. 

We had dinner and breakfast there, both were excellent - the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time! Can't fault our experience.

Wonderful stay

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved our experience. It's a quiet lodge, just off the main road, and surrounded by remote, beautiful landscapes. 

Our room was lovely - tastefully done, large size, warm enough. We faced the back and enjoyed the absolute quiet. 

The owners, Pauline and Robbie, really make this place tick. Breakfast was always lovely (good choices, home made, very tasty) and there was enough to eat at night if we didn't feel like going anywhere. They have a nice collection of whiskies and other spirits, which we loved. 

The surrounding areas are absolutely gorgeous. Robbie and Pauline gave us excellent suggestions of where to go. The town of Oban is a must-see: a beautiful, short-ish (1 hr) drive, excellent seafood. We also drove to the Aberfeldy distillery nearby. Every drive around the countryside was a pleasure - beautiful roads, no traffic, flowers in bloom. 

A couple of nights, we just hung out at the Lodge, chatting with the owners and sipping drinks. There is no phone signal in the rooms (we did get a signal just outside the Lodge), but that was fine with us. 

We loved our visit and would happily come back again.

What a great place to stay, near Killin, our navigation got a little mixed up. but luckely I saw the sign
Away from the road, safe parking, a nice host, a lovely house and great room. 
We had a good sleep were amazed about the choise for our breakfast .
Seeing our order we hope that we can return on our way back on a thursday, friday saturday to enjoy an evening dinner.
