Loch Awe Holiday Park

We have been owners on the park for the last 8 years and were looking to upgrade to newer caravan, Tony and Niamh were fantastic and found us a great deal. The process was quick, easy and stress free and we moved in withing weeks. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic holiday park with superb hot tub. The lodge ,,number 5 , which we stayed in was like a brand new lodge due to the immaculate condition we found it in . Reception staff Emily was so helpful for anything we needed plus park manager Tony never seemed to stop and always doing something within the park grounds . 5 stars to both of them and hope to return soon ..

Stayed at a lodge with two friends and my partner, river view from thr hotub, short drive to a beautiful seaside town, quiet and rural park with helpful staff came by within 15mins to fix a leaking pipe on one of the showers, ample parking and little shop within walking distance, close by there is fearnoch forest with fantasic views of the valley. Brilliant park, the lodge was very modern beautifully done came with every amenity you could ask for. Fantasticly picturesque location with lots of places nearby to go for walks, woke up most mornings and stared at the river for a good 10 minutes with a cup of tea. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful; Dan and Eoghan went above and beyond to help us out during our week stay, and Em and Niamh were very lovely when we spoke to them on the phones and during check-in/out. The nearby towns of Oban and Taynuilt are incredibly lovely, there's great food, alcohol and things to do all over the place

Beautiful setting, stunning accommodation & really helpful staff. A great location if you are looking to explore the local area & return to a really well equipped peaceful caravan. We will definitely be back. Ideal for couples, families as an exploring base.

Our first trip to our new van on the park. Staff we're just wonderful & couldn't have been more helpful. Although we overlook the road it didn't bother us & park is very peaceful. Very dog friendly our elderly Hollie loved her walks by the river.

If you're looking for a family getaway close to Oban, you won't go far wrong with this place. We received a warm welcome from Niamh and we were checked in within minutes. Our hot tub lodge was spotlessly clean with soft fluffy towels and great WiFi. 
The site is pet friendly & I loved seeing all of the dogs and their hoomans meandering about. 
Close to Oban and the local area to explore. We went to Hollow Mountain, Conan's Kirk,  on a boat trip and more whilst there. 
Each evening we came back to our comfortable lodge for a soak and a star gaze, yes even in the heavy rain! 
Niamh and Tony who are running the site were friendly, knowledgeable and a great source of information. The other staff we encountered were lovely too. 

I do feel the website is misleading about a tranquil setting as the road noise kept me awake most nights (L4). I live not far from the A1 but I guess there's more ambient noise here than there in the countryside it didn't mar the stay but I do feel it should be mentioned on the website. 

Despite being the Easter holidays, we found a lot of places close by were closed or only open from Thursday's and we stayed Monday to Friday. Niamh advised us to check though so we had no wasted trips.

Just returned home from a lovley break with family. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the lovley staff. Our caravan was immaculate with true attention to detail..... for eg curtain placement, crockery cupboard or cutlery drawer organisation instantly signalled the high standards of this site. Even the wee dishwash cleaning pack was packed with care & attention. (Im not a nit-picker, i just notice when standards go over & above & raise the bar)
   The perfect location for anyone wishing to holiday in Argyll. The site is  right next to the main road to Oban. No traffic noise issues though, true bonus!! We had a wonderful time & will definatley return.

Lovely stay, the caravan was excellent and well equipped. Friendly welcoming staff. Area is beautiful the scenery is breathtaking with some great walks just wish we were fit enough to do more! 
Basic shop on site and Oban with its lovely harour is within easy reach .



First time staying at Lochawe holiday park and will definitely be back. A warm welcome awaited us upon arrival. A quick and informative check in. We stayed in one of their new static caravans which was spacious and had all the equipment needed. Fantastic little play park and entertainment room which also had laundry facilities. The staff were very personable and happy to help with any queries we had. The park is a fantastic base on the west of the highlands, Oban only a short drive away with rail links only a couple of miles up the road. Highly recommended. Thank you :)

This is by far the best caravan park I have ever been to, and I've been on a lot of caravan holidays!

Small, quaint, beautiful holiday park. Our van was spotlessly clean, warm and unbelievably inviting. 
Beds super comfy and even came with a dishwasher (and cleaning supplies on arrival).  Tony and the team were helpful every step of the way with check-in / area details and much more.  The park is well equipped, with a small shop, petrol station, park, games room and reasonably priced launderette. 
We stayed in van H5 near the riverside walk and amazing views of the hills around us.  Holiday site is clean, spacious and quite, set against the river awe and amazing walks for those who want to.

Just bought a caravan on site. Honestly can't thank the managers enough for all their help. Moved van to pitch of our choice along with all the decking(which is massive) 
Tony went above and beyond for us, Nimn is just the loveliest girl.
The park itself is gorgeous and well kept. We look forward to going to our new holiday home whenever we want .

Just home from a great week despite the weather. Car conversation on the return journey: “would have been happy to have a 2nd week”; “it felt like home (but better)”.

A well kept caravan, clean, well appointed. Good location for exploring Glen Coe, Oban, Inveraray & Tyndrum. 

Our only disappointment is that the holiday is over & we’re home

Loch Awe Holiday Park is an amazing destination for those who love outdoor adventures and want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Situated in the stunning countryside surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, this place offers a peaceful retreat unlike any other.

During my recent trip here with my friends, we had an absolute blast exploring the nearby River Awe and taking on the challenge of hiking up to the summit of Ben Cruachan. The thrill of skiing and sledging down Glencoe Mountain Resort was just unbeatable.

This park has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for adventure or relaxation, it's the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The nearby walks offered us a chance to reconnect with nature while enjoying each other's company.

Overall, I would highly recommend Loch Awe Holiday Park. We had such a great time here that we've already started planning our next trip back!
