Everything went smoothly from booking through check in to checking out. Our room was a large double with big bathroom and spotlessly clean (towels etc changed daily). The decor was quirky and a bit shabby chic but that added to the relaxed feel of this property. Down in the pub everyone was very friendly and if you are into pub quizzes then the packed Tuesday night will be right up your street! There is a visiting gastro-pub kitchen on some nights too. The pub is very conveniently located for a walk or bus into the city centre and the street is quiet. There is a basic hamper breakfast and juice provided and coffee pods replenished daily. I always like to leave suggestions and mine would be : maybe add a date to the milk/juice so guests know which to use first and some fruit in the hamper would be good. Consider linking up with the Blue Cafe just around the corner for breakfast offers or discounts for guests - that has full hot breakfast menu for those that prefer also very friendly- could be good for both small businesses!
