A great central location, close to entertainment venues, such as Utility Arena and O2 City Hall. Lots of good bars and restaurants close by and great central high street shopping. We love Premier Inn, the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and very friendly and a great breakfast. We are never let down.

Stayed one night due to hospital visit at Royal Victoria, which is just 10mins walk away. Everything is so close to this Premier Inn as it's bang in the middle of the city. Easy 5 min walk from the station, Eldon Square for shopping is literally over the road, and all other shops within easy walking distance plus loads of places to eat in the evening, whatever type of food takes your fancy. The football stadium is a 10min walk and the university is also nearby if you're up visiting the kids while they're studying here. Great to find a hotel that is so central to everything you could want.
The building is fabulous as it's old and quaint but certainly not dated in terms of comfort and space as my room was huge with all the necessary amenities; comfy bed, clean bathroom and hot shower. Only issue could possibly be noise from the street on a weekend night as I did hear some drunken singing in the early hours (I was on the 2nd floor) but not enough to disturb my sleep too much. Staff at reception were friendly and, most useful for me, there was somewhere to leave my case between checking out and catching my train in the afternoon. I'd definitely stay here again. 

well worth the money. Room was clean and warm. Not far from Xmas market. Booked the meal deal which was great value. Limited choice without paying a little extra but food was very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent and staff at the Bar and Blok were great. Will probably book again for next year

Excellent stay. Had a premier plus room . Large very clean room. Good sound proofing from outside noise. Staff friendly. Had the meal deal. Evening meal and breakfast excellent served in the adjoining Bar and Block steak restaurant. Will definitely staff here each time we visit Newcastle 

The perfect location to celebrate my sons 21st birthday weekend. We have stayed here before so knew it was the perfect location but upgraded to a premier plus room this time and it was so quiet considering where it was. We had an issue with the sink in my daughters room but it was resolved within 5 mins of me reporting it. I love this hotel and would be back more often if it wasn't so expensive for a Saturday night but the price is to be expected on a Saturday night in the best Party city in the UK! 

Easy accessible and very close to night life. Room was quiet despite the busy night life outside and room was very clean. Check in and out was seamless. Felt very safe here, liked that in order to access lift to rooms you had to have your room key. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed for a night with friends. 
An excellent central location, perfect for shops, bars and restaurants all which are accessible within two minutes of the entrance

Check in was quick and easy, room was clean and tidy as expected from Premier Inn. The location is excellent with restaurants etc right next door and bars just up the road, walk a little further up and St James Park is right there only around a 5min walk away. There's also plenty of fast food restaurants so a lot to choose from. The Bridge is around a 10-15min walk away and nearest train station around 10min walk so you are close to everything you need.

This hotel was so central, great value, amazing breakfast, all you can eat and cooked fresh for the buffet. Loved every bit of our stay in this hotel I will be returning. Fantastic that they hold your luggage safely before you have to leave for a flight 

Myself, my partner and my 5 year and 1 year old stayed here 9th and 10th of September.  Due to something totally out of their control they were able to turn an absolute nightmare for me and my family into one of the best weekends and experiences I have ever had.  The premier Inn at newscast teams, got me out of a situation where we had ended up without somewhere to stay due too a different hotel chain.  Not only did they find a family room on short notice they booked it for me.  When we arrived at the Premier inn the gate, the staff in reception were absolutely outstanding, Marcellus, Amy, and Alex.  They sorted my booking, they showed and gave me directions to where we could park, they made each one of my family feel so special giving the children activity pack and sweets, they even gave my partner a Box of chocolates. They went above and beyond to turn our evening which was not great until we got there to an absolute pleasure.  I can not praise these 3 peoplw enough twice in the same night the faces of the Premier Inn, did not let you down as a company.  The following morning we went down for breakfast where once again the staff went out of the way to make the children and us feel so welcome. David was instrumental to my kids not stop laughing at breakfast, he was helpful courtious, and genuinely brilliant with the kids.. Once more being treated as Individuals not just a family in a hotel. Once again the face of the Premier Inn did not let you down. We will be booking there again in the next few days. Excellent Central stay

Everything you need within walking distance

Just visited this premier inn for a night out in Newcastle. Fantastic location close to everything you want.Discounted car parking to.
Reception at checking in was very good quick  and informative. 
The room does need a slight upgrade but was furnished to the premier inn style.
Didn't have a meal in the adjoining Restaurant but the bar staff serving drinks were very attentive and pleasant.

Great rooms with heat control. Breakfast was good apart from hard eggs and greasy bacon. Rest of breakfast was good.
