We stayed for one night only. 

Lovely room and a cot was provided for our 2 year old. 

Clean, tidy and stunning views of the shoreline. 

Breakfast was organised and served, lovely, with a choice of continental or fully cooked. 

Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend 100%.

Here you will find one of Scotland's hidden gems, Marion, Terry and Susana run this beautiful lodge house. I would stay here again and again. The family room is lovely well equipped even comes with a hairdryer and a private bathroom, with a corner bath, plus a separate shower cubical.  immaculately clean. We were made so welcome; breakfast was also fabulous.  You can be assured when you book here, you have made the right choice.

Had a wonderful stay with my son (age 5) at Hay Lodge. We were met with such warm hospitality from Marion and Louise (and of course Terry and Seamus!). They were so friendly and helpful. Our room and own, private bathroom were beautifully presented and really went with the style of property. The facilities were nippingly clean with views of the seafront from our bedroom. There were a variety of breakfast options available and everything was freshly prepared each morning. 
We will definitely look to stay at Hay Lodge again!

Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and spotless, breakfast was of high quality and it is in a fantastic location. This time we have travelled for business, but I would definitely come here again in the future.

This was our best B&B going. We stayed for one night it was marvelous. Marion and Terry welcomed us into their home and told us our room was on the top floor. Marion asked if we had eaten yet, we said no, she told us to go quick to the pub across the road before they finished serving meals. Our room had a king size bed, shower and fantastic views of the sea. The house was so quiet you did not know they had any other guests till we got to breakfast next morning. Delicious full cooked breakfast, with other options; cereal, croissants, juice and tea or coffee. While we were eating breakfast, Terry was keeping us entertained, with jokes, stories, etc. Marion and Terry are exceptional hosts. Thanks very much for brilliant stay. Recommend your B&B anytime. The Hay Lodge is a beautiful property which is cosy, clean and full of character. We stayed in a comfortable family room with a garden view and plenty of space and also had a lovely large private bathroom. The property is in a great location and is right next to the beach, town centre and all local amenities. 

We had everything we needed during our stay and could not fault a thing. Breakfast was made to order and it offered a great selection, everything was cooked fresh using local produce. 

Staying at the Hay Lodge is excellent value for money.  The owners Marion and Terry are very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at ease through out our stay. They also have a 4-legged friend called Cyrus who is an absolute gem for dog lovers.  

We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return the next time we visit Nairn. Thanks for your hospitality and making our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic  hotel, parking, 5 min walk to the town and sea front, very clean and tidy, wide screen,  sky TV and wi fi, hot powerful shower, great choice for breakfast, will definitely book this hotel when I'm back  working  up in the area

Very well located in the beautiful town of Nairn, Hay Lodge provided exceptional lodgings for my family's stay.  Exceptional breakfast served by the hosts in very clean and comfortable accommodations.  The locations was within close proximity to the links and beach providing great central walking to those areas.  Quality pubs and restaurants on the same street and short walk to High Street and shops and grocers.  No hesitation whatsoever recommending these accommodations to any traveller fortunate to visit Nairn.

It were totally surprised! Nice house and nice family!! We felt like home, very clean and welcoming! Good breakfast too. We recommend it and when we go back to Scotland we would definitely go straight to Hay Lodge! My 5 year old loved the house and the dog and they had ducks and a fish tank.. awesome experience and they even had a gift for my son… WE LOVED STAYING THERE.

This B&B is ideally situated in Nairn, close to the main street and also close to the Bandstand and beach. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast. On site parking available. Our room was large and quite comfortable, but unfortunately we drew the short straw with our friends and got a room at the top floor that had the tiniest shower recess I've ever seen with the only bathroom sink in the toilet. Despite this, we had a nice one night stay and I'd recommend it if staying in Nairn.

We can’t recommend this wonderful B&B enough! It felt like a home from home. We enjoyed one night at Hay Lodge and really wished we could have stayed longer. Hosts Marion & Terry are so friendly and their dog Seamus is adorable. It is clear they thoroughly enjoy doing B&B as you couldn’t fault a thing, they have thought of everything. Our family room and private bathroom were spotless, decorated beautifully and well equipped. Our 4 year old daughter was delighted with the size of the bath and the comfy generous size beds. We enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast and our daughter was happy with her continental breakfast options. It was a great atmosphere, I especially loved that Terry had tasteful music playing in the background while we ate. Not only is the B&B and service fabulous but so is the location. Close to town centre and a 5 minute walk to Nairn Beach which I highly recommend for a visit. There is also a play park by the beach much to our daughters excitement. Certainly hope to revisit Hay Lodge and area.

Why stay at Hay lodge? Is it because of the super location..no. Is it because of the delightful hosts...no. Is it because of the super cleanliness and the HUGE towels..no Is it because of the generous breakfast..no. All of these are wonderful, but the very best thing about Hay lodge is...Seamus! (see photo!)

Nicest in Nairn

Received a very warm welcome from hosts Marion and Terry.  They were extremely friendly and accommodating as we were able to check in and access our room a few hours earlier than the official time.

We booked the family room which comprised of a large king size bed and a single bed.  The room was very bright, airy and spacious and had loads of wardrobe, drawer and cupboard space.  The room was spotlessly clean and it was clear that the owners took meticulous pride in the presentation.

We had access to a private bathroom adjacent to our room door.  This was also immaculately presented and comprised of a large corner bath and separate spacious shower cubicle.  It was very clean and had a modern design.

Breakfast was tremendous, great selection and brilliant attention to detail.  Our eggs were poached to perfection. Marion and Terry introduced us to the other guests which made it feel very homely. 

The location was also great and was walking distance to all local amenities.

All in all, we had a great time and would recomend this establishment for anybody wishing a relaxing, stress free break.
