The owners have created a lovely bed and breakfast. It is “ in the country” but easy to get to Inverness and area sites. It was nice to have the bright stars at night.

Chose to stay at Broomlea GH as it is only a few minutes from Inverness airport. Located on a quiet lane off the A96. Stayed on arrival and before departure. The guest house has two very comfortable rooms, both with private bathroom. Everything you would need during your stay is provided, including hairdryer. A lovely continental breakfast is included but a full Scottish breakfast is available on request for an extra charge. Would highly recommend.

We were greeted outside when we arrived. The house is conveniently located in the countryside near the Inverness Airport. Magnificent views all around. Family run operation, charming couple, very friendly. The room was cozy and comfortable with wall plug-ins for electronic devices. We ordered a traditional Scottish breakfast for an extra charge and it was both plentiful and delicious. We’re returning for another stay at the end of our trip. A home away from home and a great value. Highly recommended the Broomlea Guest House.

5/5 for this B&B. Very friendly, very clean and excellent continental breakfast (although a full cooked breakfast is available. Easy to find on satnav. Close to Nairn which has excellent restaurants. Only a couple of planes taking off from nearby small airport early morning.

The hosts were very personable and helpful.  The room was clean and decorated beautifully. I really like the fruit and yogurt for breakfast.

A little bit out of the way from Inverness, but well worth the extra few minutes drive. The hosts treated us as a part of their family, with a warm welcome and excellent food and immaculate room.

This was such a fantastic gem to find to start our NC500 journey. The hostess was friendly and welcoming and the room was spacious, clean and had everything. We had a roof top tent on so we wanted somehwere that we could have the car close by for security and this was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend

The property was fine - clean with good breakfast.  But we were thinking it was closer to Inverness.  That was our own fault I suppose since we looked it up.  It was not close enough to "run into town for dinner."  The location is peaceful but far from a town.  It reminded me of midwest US with farms and wheatfields surrounding.  The closest town was Nairn where we found a good place to eat dinner.  But if you are looking for a location from which to explore Inverness, this is not the place.

Excellent place to stay

Good all round, except for the difficulty in finding it deep in the countryside. The directions could have been more precise.Broomlea advertises as breakfast included but as it turned out, that does not extend to a cooked breakfast, which is £8 extra. Should have been declared  up front...Otherwise, comfortable, clean and very quiet. And, the cooked breakfast was very good too !

Highlander

Great start to the NC500

The owners were very friendly, the room was spotless, the towels were large and thick. the choices at breakfast were excellent. There was a lovely space outside for guests.The main criticism was the size of the room, we struggled with having sufficient space for the suitcase. We found the bed was a bit hard and could have done with a mattress topper.

Lovely countryside views

We stayed two nights at Broomlea. We wanted to be close to the airport, but not AT the airport. Broomlea was quiet, comfortable, and convenient to Inverness. We explored Fort George and the village of Ardersier. We had lovely Sunday Carvery at the Star Inn in the village. Broomlea's breakfast was delicious, and we had a pleasant stroll down the quiet farm lane.

Due to its remote location on a narrow road, this place is very, very quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep.  Our host was very nice and helpful who served us a very copious breakfast.  The room was perfectly fine, nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed. Culloden is close by, as are Inverness, Loch Ness and its Urquhart castle, and the Cairngorms National Park is only slightly more distant but all within a one hour's drive.  For going out for meals, both Inverness and Nairn are close by.Without a car or the aid of google maps, this place would not be easy to reach or to find.  That would be the only drawback to staying at Broomlea.

We had a pretty late arrival from the US, but as soon as we pulled up to the property, our host Teresa came out and greeted us and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was great each morning and the conversations with Teresa every morning was great. Her and Ollie were very helpful for recommendations on where to go and what to do. They added such a personal touch to everything. I would definitely recommend this property for the countryside and for wonderful hosts.

Bromley is one of the best B&Bs i have ever stayed in,from the moment i arrived till i left after a hearty cooked breakfast the following morning,the hosts could not have been more helpful,set in a lovely rural location but only 10 mins from Inverness Airport and 20minutes from City centre,the bedroom was big with great en-suite facilities and a lovely comfortable bed with crisp white bed linen,i will definitely stay again in my next visit to Inverness.
