154 reviewsThis place looked like a bargain and it was. It was really easy to find and there was plenty of room to park. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the young lady behind the bar and shown to my room. She explained about ordering breakfast and left me to settle in. The room was easily big enough for me on my own but would have been just as comfortable with two people. This is room 1 which I think is the smallest. The room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of space and a really nice shower with plenty of hot water. There was tea, coffee and biscuits in the room and a nice TV that could be moved to watch from different angles. I went down to the pub which was busy (about 6.30pm) and appeared to be full of locals who were friendly and happy to have a chat. The drinks were very reasonably priced and although I only ate snacks from the bar, the food that other people were ordering looked really good and the prices on the menu looked very reasonable. The staff - the young lady I met on arrival and another gentleman were really nice and would ask if I wanted another drink when my current one was nearly finished. I couldn't fault them for anything. I had a really good sleep and left fairly early so didn't have breakfast but I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
