62 reviewsI booked a one bedroom for about 10 nights on my own. Here is what I remember: - The room has everything you need, including kitchen utensils to do basic cooking and eating. There is an oven with fan, induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer unit. There is also a Nespresso pod coffee maker. All appliances were well maintained - the extractor hood was clean and grease-free as well. - Things like washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and even laundry pods are provided - and replenished during the stay. - The air-con worked well during the summer - and kept the room "American temperature cool" - The internet worked well - with the Wifi access point located in the room itself - The cleaner Yolanda for my room was terrific in adapting to my crazy work schedule which sometimes had me staying in the apartment until 1pm, and other times leaving in the early morning. She always managed to clean my room no matter the time. - Right out the door, there are dozens of places to eat/drink. There is a Tesco and a M&S Simply Food within a 4 minute walk. The nearby shopping plaza also serves as an Amazon pick-up point. Easy walks also to Bank station, Millennium foot bridge, etc. - The nearest underground station is "Mansion House" upon arriving, follow the exit signs to "Bow Lane" take the stairs up (they are part of a private building but access is almost always open) - and turn left at the top of the stairs. The reception is one easy block away on the right. - It is in an area with lots of restaurants and pubs, but past about 10pm, it is dead quiet - so there is no issue with noise or sleeping. Make sure you sign up for GHA Discovery so you can start earning money back on your future stays.
