Got there late morning expecting breakfast to be finished serving.
Although the menus had been collected off the tables the lady said she would cook us some
Very good breakfast's, they even checked the order was correct once we sat down as there were changes to the menu we asked for 
Prices are good under £10 for a large one

What a gem! Driven past so many times but only now ventured in & discovered such an interesting place! Garden reclamation paraphernalia & indoors other interesting antiques for sale at reasonable prices. The farm shop has many delights & the cafe serves good food, again at reasonable prices, & with a smile!

Sunday lunch for two , absolutely wonderful  roast lunch , well worth booking. Ultimate accolade gravy near up to Nan Dora's (from my wife). Really good home cooking and good value. Booking for Sunday lunch essential. Worth the trip to find The Grange at Mortimer's Cross.

Called here on spec Sunday 4th September 2022 for Sunday Lunch. Plenty of parking space.  Wasnt busy so pick your own table. We both had roast beef with the trimmings and wasnt disappointed with meal. Plenty of Beef and various veg with a jug of gravy. Its not just a pub/restaurant but a deli, antique centre and garden centre. Would go again if that way. Price was ok and staff were very friendly

Place used to be a pub but has now become a Café, restaurant, antique and craft shop and a farm shop. We had lunch with my elderly parents, it was great, something on the menu for most people's tastes and they serve Mr Whippy ice cream and amazing milkshakes.
Staff are friendly and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit and we will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the carvery on Mothers Day. Really friendly, attentive and accommodating staff.
The food was great. So much choice and good portions for hungry eaters! 
There were seven of us, including two vegetarians and one vegan. All catered for incredibly well.
Nice ambience and decor too. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Lovely room and fantastic breakfast!! Had a great stay. Friendly staff and a wonderful little deli/farm shop full of local produce. The room had a lovely ensuite with shower and jet bath. It was very clean and fresh throughout. With local family they mentioned to me the many different choices to go out at night for evening food all within a very short driving distance. Great stay and would recommend this lovely B&B to anyone

We booked for Sunday lunch for my father’s birthday early September. We had a flight booked at the nearby Shobdon airfield which unfortunately was delayed. We rang the Grange and let them know we would be late. No problem at all. They accommodated us when we arrived an hour late. We all had the carvery which was beautifully cooked and the vegetables were delicious. Thank you so much. We are sure to be back. Three of our party has desserts which again were delicious. 
Thoroughly enjoyable meal and lovely setting too.

Had a 2 night stay at this  great hotel the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough the breakfast was gorgeous the noise from traffic was not that bad and I'm a light sleeper 
I would return anytime 

First visited this lovely pub back in April 2019.   From then on we frequently visit on a Tuesday for the delicious roast lunch which at £7.25 is excellent value.  We even had our Christmas lunch 2019 at the pub and the atmosphere and food was as lovely as always.  Can't fault it. :-)

Worth a visit

What a gem of a place!

As a family we’ve been to this place a number of times pre Covid normally on a Sunday afternoon for the carvery. 

There was no doubt it was the best carvery I’ve ever had and I have had a fair few. Plus back then the place was packed and you had to book well ahead. Plus trying to get a seat in the bar at the front while waiting was never easy so it’s just showed you how good it was. 

However, since covid the placed has  changed dramatically and not for the best. I’m not sure if it’s a hotel, brick a brac shop, deli or a pub it’s just lost it’s identity and atmosphere. 

We recently visited again, and the place was dead. In fact, we were the only people in the restaurant. Such a shame as the food Sunday roast was still very good, although they currently no longer serve the carvery.

My only criticism apart from the lack of atmosphere and customers was the gravy was a bit watery, and there simply wasn’t enough cauliflower cheese for three people. 

We asked for more which we received. However, we were told that normally the answer would normally be no which is very disappointing considering the cost has gone up by at least £2. 

Based on what we experienced with lack of customers I am just wondering how long this place will survive. 

Also I have to say it would be nice to see it return to it’s former glory with the bar at the front open again and a open fire and a full restaurant serving the wonderful carvery that simply couldn’t be beaten.

Super meal to celebrate Dad’s birthday. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this very pleasant inn. Hidden behind a not very prepossessing exterior, the current owners have created a very comfortable inn. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent and the rooms cosy. Our spa bath was a great additional extra to our stay. Lovely garden too. And a great area to explore Herefordshire, Shropshire and Mid Wales.

Thank you to everyone in the community who helped us after our flood adventure. We stayed in a beautiful room at Mortimers Cross booked at the last minute following being rescued from our car. Great food, good company and such helpful staff who helped to make the end of a nightmare day much more bearable! A great place to stay - we will be returning under less stressful circumstances! 😁
